Does the trunk guide actualy do anything.And how difficult to install.

Hi Robert Cosmetically it look better in my opinion. The idea of it is to prevent any side slap in the piston. It was a little bit fiddly as some parts have to be removed to attach it. When you purchase one make sure you have the fitting instructions with it. Best regards Nigel.
