All Cats are strong for sure but these 2 11,s had been worked ridiculous ly hard and chalked up massive hours, yet these fellas spruced them up and they are still tough as nails and putting in lots of solid work ,love it ,sooo impressive lads

Very good. It is High power at low speed for better grip. There the D11 is in its natural habitat.

Welded on grousers are the best for BULK grip I have seen em snap off in the mines but you guys work in a lot of soft country so should be perfect

Just subscribed! Great videos, interesting and very real. Is your farming operation separate from your earthmoving operations? Thanks in advance if you get time to answer.
@thejacksonbrothers
@thejacksonbrothers 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, they aren’t really separate but we do a lot of contract work with dozers so a couple of us are running dozers while the other does the farm work, but we pull the dozers up when we need the labour for planting, harvest etc👍 we do a lot of dozer work on our own farm too obviously😁

what's the final size on that? I can't tell if this is gravel for a driveway or rip-rap for erosion control (head size rocks)
@thejacksonbrothers
@thejacksonbrothers 3 жыл бұрын
Bit of a mix of size, mainly used for erosion control. Anything from the size of a fist to the size of a foot

@@thejacksonbrothers yup, that's what i was thinking of when i said rip-rap. idk the actual industry name lol. it's neat that it brakes up so perfectly! do you ever get any surprise big chunks, or is it all smooth sailing?
@thejacksonbrothers

Holy cow! No crusher needed! Just push her up and haul it off. You’d be a wealthy man around my part of the world with material like that. Unreal. You reckon there room for a Texican down there???? 🤠

Just to add, I presume that is the time weathered top layer, exposed over millenia and rotten, we do get that too, my Dad favoured it for round water troughs since it was kinder on the cattles feet, it packed down like concrete too.

@@thejacksonbrothers Thanks for the reply. I started watching these people I might get a small piece of land in the western US (0.28 Hectares). It has many evergreens and it’s on a slight grade. So, naturally, I started watching videos of how things are cleared and how a road can be made. :) Thank you again.

Well I think considering I've been operating Dozers in all types of mines quarries and swamps for the past 26 years that would warrant surely a little recognition as a worthy operator handing out a little tip or is that a little to much for ones ego maybe . It's okay to improve or try something different.

@@floydgould4401 , thanks for that. by the way, you do warrant recognition as a worthy operator who takes the time to hand out a little tip. i am forever grateful to the man who showed me the finer features of how to operate an excavator to a skill level better than most. but jesus bloody christ ive seen how touchy some others are when i offer them some advice on how to do things better. they'll never get any better if they arent prepared to learn.
