Awesome video man..can’t wait to get back home and run mine. We’ll be another 2 weeks though. Be careful out there on your own, getting stuck in all that mud lol getting that thing out of there without the track on must’ve been easy but it cleared a lot of dirt
@seansrcconstruction29 күн бұрын
Hey how did you get the full sound kit to work without the smoke?
@RueyMorris29 күн бұрын
Killer Video, it can really move a lot of dirt. I notice it moves so much more faster than the DXR2.

Darrell that machine is wickedly awesome. I can't wait for you to push some dry dirt as well. I feel you made the right choice to sell your other dozer to get this one. I assume that it being bigger and heavier that the drive motors are more powerful than the DXR2
@yellowironcowboyrccon748429 күн бұрын
@bryangriffin2093 I think the drive power is about the same maybe a little stronger, but the real difference is in the weight. Its 30 pounds heavier than the d10.

Most reliable and best bang for buck Excavator? Leaning towards the XDRC 945 5 channel from Toucan with the Paladin transmitter. I'd like to have the Kabolite 970-200, big fan of the front shovel but the price.

Snow melted yesterday from the rain finally not in the negatives hope to get out and do some clean up yard has just been a mess. I can still dig no problem I just get so frustrated cause you scoop a bucket then just hang it over the truck 😂it never falls out gotta use your finger or a stick. I have two buckets I super glued a chain in the back of the bucket to knock of wet material how they do with excavator buckets in the oil fields cause they have production down to the ton so a packed bucket would throw off truck loads and production.

Hello, I also have a D11T, great machine but I have a hard time keeping the tracks on. The valley that the rollers and the drive sprocket ride in easily fills with debris and then the track slips off of the rear roller. I thought about drilling relief holes in the track sections as is done on the aftermarket DXR2, tracks but the tracks on the D11T, are made of hard steel that my good drill bits won't cut. Have you had this problem, do you have any suggestions? Thanks for any advice you can give. Dave
@yellowironcowboyrccon74847 күн бұрын
@afraone yes i did have a issue. The tracks didn't seem tensioned enough so i added a 1/4 inch thick nut inside where the spring pushes against. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but it made a big difference in track tightness. When my track came of i was in sticky mud, i had mud build up under the fenders lol.
@afraone6 күн бұрын
@@yellowironcowboyrccon7484 Thanks for your quick reply. I am now in the process of machining relief holes in the tracks on my D11T. The tracks are made of a very hard steel, regular drill bits won't cut them, so I used a two flute 1/4" carbide end mill to machine the holes in the track sections. I will also take your advice and install a 1/4" spacer behind the tensioner spring when I reassemble the dozer. The soil in my area is a mixture of very fine sand and clay, it sets up like concrete in the valley of the track where the rollers and drive sprockets ride, this allowed the tracks to slip on the drive sprocket and slide off of the rollers, my hope is the relief holes in the track will allow debris to be pushed out by the rollers and drive sprockets rather then build up and cause problems. Dave

Well deffenitly let me know if the hole help!! I will appreciate it.

@@yellowironcowboyrccon7484 I just finished up machining holes in the second track. Going to the hardware store tomorrow to get a clamp to make reassembly easier after installing the spring spacer. My yard is MUD now and will be for the next 4/5 months as soon as I get a chance to try the Dozer with the modified tracks I'll be sure to post here and let you know what I think. Dave

@tony5247mittens so far they are doing great and this area is full of rocks. Yesterday i had a issue with a track coming off the ideler but do to the excessive mud i believe thats why it came off.

Great dozer with fine details. I'm looking forward to the durability of the drive. Are they brushless motors with planetary gears? Have fun in the dirt 🤠
