I think my favorite part was TD20E vs. stump #1. Man that thing sings. What was yours?

Those weeds are filtering and cleaning the water. Providing habitat for aquatic life which is crucial for maintaining water quality.

I love how all these dozers were essentially scrap but in reality they are far from it. So crazy to me how wasteful we are as a society. Good to see you working them.
@W8iHav2P2 сағат бұрын
In a "they function" way they're not scrap but to any company they're essentially scrap because they just can't be used profitably on production jobs.

I think that the Iiebherr is an apropriate machine for your belongings. Tension up the tracks and gain more experiance how to operate this dozer. You will be satisfied

After watching more of it , if you still have the power pan you should use it , beats having excavator put buckets of dirt in front of dozer.

I don't mean to tell you how to do anything but a long reach excavator is the ticket for this deal . Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 😊!

If you bolt 4 railroad ties together with all thread and set them in the water you can drive right on them. Make about 4 of them and your all set
@nodaklojack3 сағат бұрын
Wow, I would be scared to take a dozer in there. I would chicken out and get a long reach excavator. Small bucket and time consuming but less chance if getting stuck?
@rirebel60293 сағат бұрын
Awesome video but I got 2 weeks off of work for the holidays and this was wayyyyy to close to what I do 50 weeks out of the year 😂😂 fight with water fight with pumps fight with mud then try to make it look nice , oh yeah and as soon as the leaf start falling fight to race the freeze !!! You guys did a great job and you own almost all the equipment so I would consider it a big win!!! I think dad would be shocked at a long reach rental price i know I am everytime we get one.

Once you get some hours in an excavator it just clicks and you don't think about what control does what. It becomes like an extension of your body.

You can do with the old fashioned way and use a dragline on a crane
@hinz14 сағат бұрын
You need a tracked dump truck, IMO Dozer needs lots of power, pushing dirt, tracked dump truck, more capacity, less power requirements

I'm not sure you can ever have too many old bulldozers, can you? (Not sure the bank balance would agree with that view though!)
@prestonsousa59782 сағат бұрын
Between what you have dozer wise and the pan you should be able to get it . You may as well make it as deep as you can for drought periods of time. Your old excavator just find a 471 or v6-71. Boats an Harbour yellow sheet has plenty of older engines. You could be in my shape. My dealership has my tractor with a defective throttle posioner. Back ordered till 2025 an my machine is a 2024. My backhoe is to big for it. Older machines will out last new ones . The biggest reason is computers
