To be honest we are running a stock cam and I have not done a performance cam in this engine before but I have seen a couple videos and I think it should just drop in but double check that with someone who has done one

I did the same with my 93 HB. If your running megasquirt you can go MAP instead of MAF. I fabricated an intake "box" almost just like yours, using the wing nuts to hold it down before I got my MSPNP2. But what I ended up doing is removing the upper MAF assembly, and fabricate a plate with the intake pipe bending into it. It will bolt right into it with the 4 bolts you remove when you take the MAF sensor assembly off. You can get a much better seal, and remove a little restriction of the MAF assembly. There's no reason to have the MAF if you are on a MegaSquirt!

Did you build your 4x4? I have 1, I slapped a 100$ ebay spoolyboi on not intercooled, no tuning, did some 10psi boosted launches at the dirt track now I have a blown head gasket, also possible broken rings didn't dig that far yet. Going to follow this guy's parts list to build mine I believe.

What injectors are being put in the truck?

550cc mustang injectors 340lph fuel pump the stock ecu with the big injectors is why it idles rough also the o2 sensor was not hooked up also maf sensor had been converted to gm iat sensor watch part 2 you will see the difference wideband hooked up and meagasquirt night and day difference also if you have not put forged pistons in don't go over ten pounds as if you watch other videos you can see what happens

That's where we got the intercooler came in that turbo kit it is two and a half inch Inlet and Outlet I would have to get out a tape measure to give you the rest of the measurements and I can do that on Monday but for the price of the kid you get the whole lot of s*** for 600 bucks

Second question what do you believe the rough idle is after the install of the complete turbo kit my truck has the exact same idle I have a megasquirt as well but haven’t installed it yet due to not having all the parts yet for it

@@Jaxolot52 the mega squirt will actually use the oem o2 sensor if you are having issues with the timing chain that is one thing but if it is ok then installing the megasquirt will not hurt if you keep it under ten pounds the stock pump and injectors may keep up

@@WhoopAzzRacing the only issue was I found a tiny piece of the chain guide in my oil pan nothing crazy like the boys truck and it hasn’t rattled at all yet the stock injectors were what I was gonna use but with a fuel pump and decent branded FMU to stay on the budget friendly side my buddy at a local tuner shop said I’d be perfectly fine on that setup he’s also gonna be the one to tune it what wires did you use

How much did all of this cost?

to be honest we have not added it all up. this video was before we had to build the engine turbo kit 689.00 mega squirt 900.00 log manifold 135.00 mtxl air fuel gauge 169.00 340 lph fuel pump 110.00 the sway bar kit I think was 350.00 injectors the second set was 325.00 the ebay (110.00)injectors did not perform correctly and had a 10% variance between highest to lowest that can cause engine failure so had to change them. the engine blew the rings so we then got forged pistons rods head studs and main studs roughly another 1000.00 plus machine shop cost. Basically the budget went out the window when the engine blew up. So roughly 3678.00 in parts should be in the 350-400 whp range we will find out going to the dyno hopefully this weekend! To be honest that is not as bad as I thought I did leave out all the interior stuff oh I forgot the clutch a stage 4 unsprung clutch with flywheel from ebay was under 200 so 3900.00 and for the level of power it is producing I would say it was a bargain roughly 100hp per 1000.00 dollar spent not to bad.
