I actually love refer as a dual sorc (to deal with immunes without infinity) to have hydra over meteor

thanks to this video i learned you can just edge bow pmh on dclone... i play solo self found trap assassin and today was the first time i got an annihilus thanks to this. has nothing to do with the hydra skill, but thank you alot for just having something like "edge pmh dclone" in this video :D

My first level 99 ladder character was a Hydra sorc! I believe it was Season 2! Cutting out that cast delay, plus inclusion of Flickering Flame and sunder charms made it possible 😊

I think making the second or third head of the hydra shoot a fireball with similar damage would be a good change. It'd stay best at single target damage and wouldn't have to risk being too much against groups.

Is there a video on Enchant? I searched the videos list going back to a while year and only got the one that is tied to Demon Limb and buff sticks but not one dedicated to enchant itself. Did I miss it?

I kind of like the casting delay if only to hunt for items that can create hydras on their own. Has that distinct support-type ability thing going on

I use Hydra with a hybrid Orb/Hydra/Fireball build. The Frozen Orb only needs the 20 points & 1 point into cold mastery, and the rest to fire. Frozen Orb helps slow down the enemies so that Hydra Hits more, and Fireball has an AOE effect. Good dual elemental damage. You can google hybrid hydra orb sorc for more info if needed.

I remember before the hydra change. You can drop unlimited hydras now it’s capped at 6. Which didn’t mean much to the sorc becusse they would disappear before you dropped the 4th hydra but ctc items like dragon. You could have like 20 hydras on the screen at once lol.

I like summons was thinking of trying a hydra build but after this video it seems to struggle vs big mobs. But we do get a lvl 20 fireball i guess we could support tbr hydras. And maybe put last 20 points into another offensive skill.

Even if 1 of the heads shot fireballs, or if the heads would alter their shots between the 2 every other shot.

You need to treat hydra like firewall, put them down between the mob and you, then when they get close teleport directly behind them and make them run through the hydras again. Strafing around the hydras will not equal good dps.

A Good fire build that i have used is Hydra + Fireball + Meteor.

Maybe if the hydras were solid. And you can surround yourself with them. They could act as a shield.

Maybe it should have a chance to shoot fireball and not just firebolt. Also getting near Hydra would resolve with a holy fire burn. And they can't be killed as its just flames pretending being Hydras. Maybe hydra should be able to spread coz u know Hydra gets more heads if one get slayed. Maybe u should be able to summon 3 at once. meaning u get 9 heads shooting firebolts.

I think hydras, just as the druid spirits, should be targeted by enemies but they shouldn't take damage Edit - maybe then, we should get the cast delay back, otherwise I think it would be too op, idk But I feel druid spirits shouldn't be targeted at all, it sucks they actually seek out enemies and die instantly

I thought for uber diablo there needs to be a bunch of soj sold. I remember hydras in D1. Thy were gg and creators probably over compensated wen creating them for d2.

Static Field is Amazing, especially when you get the Min HP level below 50% down to 25%. I was playing around with that all this season with the Thor barb.

I'm sorry but this video doesn't do Hydra sorceresses any justice! Look at the s*** gear he's using and I bet there ain't 1 single 5-5 fire facet in his setup! For optimization you should use a close to perfect flicking flame Mara's or Rising Sun Amulet VSMagi with 5-5fire facet Pheonix Shield Close to perfect Eschutas temper with 5-5 Fire Facet Magefists Arachnids mesh Silk weave boots SoJX2 4skillers with 12%FHR and 70 Fire Sunder charm Merc has Infinite in Mancatcher Andariel's Visage ArconP Fortitude and it really slaps now!

Your just doing it wrong. Hydra spam bosses watch them melt 🫠😈. Leaf staff ⚕️ and watch everything burn ❤️‍🔥. No for little imp good for lorg groups and big demons.
