A "perfect" 300% ED Bonesnap is a Holy Grail item. Not just because of it's damage boost and potential for upgrade, but becaause it's awesome to kill monsters by hitting them with a freakin' skull on a tree stump.

this weapon is so good for feral druids early on, member that droods get attack speed bonusses for 2 handers, so its like fast speed on a drood instead of slow attack speed. You get this one and than your set until you get your wind hammer to drop or get runes for a runeword weapon.

There are only like a dozen items in the game that have 300% or more ED on them and half of them are runewords. always up bonesnap early ladder

Bonesnap is very nice to keep for Normal to Nightmare play thrus. IK set is a nice step-up to after you bonesnap. IK set struggles after players 2! It needs alot of help after that but I'm on with that. I love using Barbs and WW is dope easy mode.

Well the point is you tested this whole scenario with IK Set which is good for the IK maul but not to test this weapon ^^ You remember offhand ed? Well you have a physical attack powerstick here that gets all of the nice bonus to damage from all sorts while IK Maul only shine because of how high all the magic bonus damage is. To be fair you would have to considder runewords in exchange over Bonesnap.... however only Eternity comes with indestructible has 270 to 310% ed and only 20% crushing blow of course with additional benefits but on a way higher price too. Other runewords to considder would be Beast or Last wish which make up for the lack of etherial damagebonus by their higher ed and bonus aura ed and other benefits. So this is however not the biggest issue with Bonesnap as if you check on both other unique mauls which are Blodtree Stump and Windhammer they both have 50% crushing blow and additional benefits making themsuperior in mostly any case beside and here shines Bonesnap the maximum on weapon ed. So in total you could argue that Bonesnap would be best choice for a charge Paladin as he doesn't care for attackspeed and benefits most from the raw damage of this weapon. Babarians however will find the other 2 uniques way superior as they provide bonus to their skills or a much higher attackspeed with additional crushing blow. This whole discussion however is based alongside the max roll Bonesnap etherial version while the normal variant is basically lacking the damage to compete with any endgame runeword that offers some sort of crushing blow.

Is it just me or do random mobs drop better items and sets then quest act bosses with higher chances? Farm for hours with good MF and nothing, then out of no place boom randon drops from monster

Yep bosses have been dropping magic and rare items or sometimes nothing. My best item's come from random minions...this has been happening just recently too.

More chances from regular mobs tbh. They may only drop one item but when you kill a thousand of them that is a thousand chances

should note that you can swing it til it almost breaks and up it to repair the eth version. if you break an eth, the upgraded version will be broken too(99%sure). Love this one.

So attack speed for pretty much all weapons is based upon the class that is looking at the weapon. Since yours is fast attack speed I'm assuming that you're a druid because Druids have an innate speed increase on all two handed weapons. Claws on any class but assassin say very slow. Bows on non Amazon are much slower. All classes have their specialties

just sad the item is pretty shitty tho. i mean it can be good in certain builds but stats could also be better. well.. should be better. it has such a cool unique look and so boring stats.
