BRO, thank you so much for the rundown on all the upgrades. When I started playing when DR2 came out, I started going ham on the mats to upgrade all the gear and weapons.....just wasting away what I needed later. You are saving me time and expenses so I don't go upgrading junk that's not worth it. I watch your vids all the time.

My Summon Necro's merc has Steelgoad and I had a bow with both Monster Flee And Amplify Damage on it. It made a dull day fun. Steelgoad has gotten me from Act 2 to Act 4 because it breaks up enemy formation, and has often allowed me to slip in and rear flank a bunch of enemies shooting from the back. I go commando and put all my points into STR and DEX so my Necro can fight as a foot solider in his own army and I use my Stash as a toolbox for equipping my Necro to deal with different enemies and situations. The biggest threat to a huge enemy army is a distraction. And while the enemy is fleeing from Terror, being hit with it constantly, it screws with the ability to attack, constantly in a state of recoil.

this item is good for like range characters, it can keep your mercenary alive when you are swarmed.

Would love to try out with the werewolf druid. Seems like that might be a good one aside from use on the desert spear mercenary

Monster fear doesn't bother me when I'm playing a ranged character so sometimes I'll use this on a low level merc on my Sorc or something.

I found a yellow pike with 121 - 602 with 2 sockets (Etheral) which has been good for my merc.

sounds pretty good, toss a couple amn runes in there for life leech
