Frozen Orb is back!!! This is Mox On Hit here, happy to see came by! I got a new leveling build for you, and a solid starter guide for the new Season 4 for Diablo IV. This has been an absolute blast to play so far, and has "shattered" the content that we have thrown at it so far! We still have lots of upgrades to get, but it has been a workhorse that has been able to grind it all: Helltides, Gauntlet, Nightmare Dungeons, Bosses, and The Pit! Fun against PIT bosses: Blood Bishop, Slither, Bramble, Spirit Caller of Frost, Seahag, Sharpshooter, Chieftan, Elias, and Lilith.

An error was found in the Mid-game Guide before you get the amulet! It has been updated and fixed. Sorry for the error! We focus mostly on just conjurations starting out to get out cooldowns refreshed and up! We don't need the Frost Nova for the Vulnerability since you apply it with the Accursed Touch Aspect! Thank you so much, finally a starter guide that really works. Finished second capstone without any issues (level 55, may work with lower level, but I am just chilling ;-)). Tried frozen orbs at level 35, but didnt worked out well, since perma-oom. Now I got the winterglass, this really makes this build next level.

1 very important thing for early game: You can now get health on hit on your weapon, offhand and jewelery. This stat combined with 2 or even 3 hydras is a game changer. Also, Mana on kill is new and can help out immensly. 2. I thought all chests in helltide are mystery chests now, so that would mean no actual target farming, correct? I have not played the PTR though.

Thanks for the suggestions for the items, for sure! Will have to play around with that. They changes they made to adding +1 base minimum Hydra felt amazing in PTR, very needed! And there are still normal chests too, they made changes to add another type of mystery chest though, cheaper and rarer.

Hey! Those are dust devils from the Barbs. I was doing some group play with them. We don’t spawn those on this build sadly.

What do you think of Vyr's Mastery over Avalanche key passive? Do you think its needed defensively in the endgame?

I am more of a fan of Shatter or Avalanche over Vyr's. The 20% damage reduction is good, but it won't save you from the Pit mechanic. When you get high enough it is more about killing quickly and not getting hit. Vyr's would just be a DPS loss then. Plus, our only true shock skill is Lightning Spear, which we only trigger. 20% DR is better suited for defensive slot aspects. Additonally, with the armor changes they are making, we might not even need Juggernauts. There will probably be another aspect slot there for more DR.

Hey! So the big interaction is with the Fractured Winterglass amulet. Everytime we cast a Frozen Orb, there is a chance on the first line to cast a random Conjuration. Those then have a chance to cast a Frozen Orb. This interaction also increases our damage per Conjuration we have through Conjuration Mastery. We use the points spec'd into both to give us cooldown reduction and CC through stun. With the Frost Nova Enchantment, those Conjurations cast that without us needing to as well. All of this happens simply by casting Frozen Orb, making it so we don't have to have Frost Nova or Hydra on our bar, and lets us get around the long cooldown on Lightning Spear and Ice Blades!

Seems to be an error in the planner for the starter, you have enhancement onto frost nova, but no frost nova skill is allocated to put it there

This was an error for sure, and a big one! It has been updated! So sorry for the error there!!! The Ice Blades is what is supposed to be the 2nd enchantment. This is to generate as many conjurations for us for the Conjuration Mastery bonus. We rely on Accursed Touch for our Vulnerability!

Thanks! And we usw Fractured Winterglass amulet to spawn them for us, automatically. We then use the spears for more CC and breaking the staggering bars on the boss.

As a newcomer to the game I have three questions: 1 - Do we have to do renowns again every season? 2 - is it worth it to level renowm to max? 3 - what is the fastest way to do so? I've been watchin some streams since the beggining of the season and I never saw someone focusing on it.

Hey, welcome! So as a new player, I would recommend doing full renown max in every area to start. We don't need to redo it every season then, just the first time for the benefits. For a fast way to do it, focus on Whisper Dungeon bonused areas. Quests aren't the best way as some are long in some areas. Dungeons are great though, Strongholds are best! Also, look up a location guide for the Altars of Lilith and get them done ASAP! If you are working through campaign the first time, just grind through. Focus on finishing story first and foremost, get as much renown done as possible while doing the main story at the same time. You want to get your horse unlocked as fast as possible, makes the game far better. Good luck, and welcome to Sanctuary!

hi sry my questions but i would like to make that lovely build BUT ... how we get vulnerable on enemies in the "orb starter build link" (is it just the ice blades ?) and u have nova in entchanted , but not skilled :( is it a fault or do i missunderstand sth. ? ^^

Accursed Touch is the best way, otherwise you can try for gear that gives us the "Lucky Hit Chance to Apply Vulnerability". The main use though is getting your Conjurations to proc the Frost Nova. The best way is the Accursed Touch though. A third option is replacing a Glyph for the Exploit Glyph to give us Vulnerability.

There was an error. And thank you for catching it! It has been updated now. We were supposed do be using Ice Blade Enchantment for spawning for Ice Blades for Conjuration Master and to reset cooldowns faster. Accursed Touch is our Vulnerability application! Soooooo sorry again for the issue, it is updated!

Is this build tanky or is glass?

Pretty tanky actually! It has a huge hit pool with all the barrier we can generate. Eventually when you get to high enough Pit levels though, nothing can prevent 1 shots on any class. For most other content though, this does amazingly well! On PTR I had to solo 4 player Duriel and Echo of Duriel due to my barb friend dying, haha. I could tank several hits from her and the would get 1 shot.

Not as much as people think, still does pretty well! Pushed up to 100 with it yesterday, and did a 31 Pit before I stopped for the night. Going to push more today! If you can get a decent Fractured Winterglass, it still does fantastic! It levels pretty well into NM Dungeons too without the amulet even. Pushed until the 60s in NM Dungeons without it.

@@Lonzo1112 Mana Per Second gear is key! Otherwise, I am posting an updated build tomorrow that will go over some new changes for after you get the amulet. Pre amulet though stays the same!
