Come on Darious. Just set up a patreon. The film already has 40.000 views and if only 10.000 donate around a 10er you going to make the money back and have some cash flow for future projects. Everybody is asking for it and I think most of us would like to pay for your work and help you to keep going. Both the documentary and the film were fantastic!

I had NO idea just how much you've been through and worked through. This is creativity and grit in its most *raw* form. I find that there's a trend of you just understanding how hard things are. You don't underestimate a task and I think that allows you to go into it with more reasonable expectations than the average person which allows you to carry on far beyond when most other people would have given up. Seeing just how much time, effort, blood, sweat and tears that you've put into this has made things that I've been agonizing over feel so much smaller. I feel like I can walk away and start my life over with new eyes and perspective after watching this. Here are my main takeaways aside from the fantastic edits, storyline and storytelling. 1. Things won't usually be on a silver platter, if they are *great* but don't expect it. 2. Find a worthy goal and steadily work it through to completion. If a wall comes up, climb it. If it becomes harder than you initially anticipated to climb, stop. adjust. Climb harder. 3. When those thoughts come up inside; the ones telling you it's time to quit; Don't listen. Keep going. 4. Sometimes even when you give your best and cover *all* your bases it *still* doesn't work (The DVDs that didn't play when sent off even after being checked). Don't let it stop you. Keep going. My big overall takeaway: K E E P. G O I N G. Thanks D4. For your service and hard work. I have a new way to attack my problems now.

Darious.. that was awesome man. I want to thank you, your mom, your crew and everyone else for giving us a peek into your life, your struggles and how you overcame them. And for inspiring me personally in everything that i do with filmmaking and the festifal circut. I love and respect how transparent you are about everything.. what you see is what you get. You are half the reason i dont lose faith in my craft, or myself. And i cannot say thank you enough. Keep speaking from the heart and stay on your path with your head held high. UNSOUND will write its own story in the history books and i know this isnt the last great work from Darious Britt. You are awesome brother, much love. Id be honored to meet you one day and call you a friend. Might have to do a big Sad Wookie!! Haha Booya!!

This is the best documentary on indie filmmaking I've seen thus far. This documentary goes into so many details of the whole process of an idea (that hits home directly with your mother) going to script, then onto set, with the actors, the acting,, the lights, the locations, more lights, then the editing, post editing, re-editing, re-mixing, reshooting scenes, getting the film mixed at a larger scale studio, reviewing and having another showing, this doc goes absolutely into so many heart wrenching moments and details that I can't see this piece not making it to Sundance or Cannes and making it to the Universities, this is absolutely a must see for all film students and it should be part of the University curriculum. This is outstanding work, and watching you retell your struggles, and the realities of getting your mom's blessings, woow! is all I can say. You carry the essence of narrative and storytelling in your bones, and it shows at every part of the way.

I saw the film. And I have to say it is poignant, groundbreaking, affecting, beautiful, and truthful. The fact that this film was not a financial success is clearly not the fault of the creators, it is the fault of the people who control the industry. Either they don't notice a great story when they see it, or they REFUSE to promote films that shed light on social issues. Sometimes it's not a question of if a film will make money or increase subscribers, it's a question of the power dynamic in our society. They are highly prejudice. They know that if they promote films like this, people's thinking will be changed and we will become a more egalitarian society

I've been following your channel since 2015 and man you've come a long way and I'm excited to see where you go next! This is inspiring to tell some of my stories and hope they can reach people in all sorts of ways! Bless your mom, man. I can only imagine how you both felt during this entire journey. I wish only the best for you and your family. Keep on grindin' and keep making them movies bro! Much love!

Thanks for sharing this story, it proves once more that hard work will pay off. You learned a lot of thing and actually finished something you started even though all odds were against you. You are great filmmaker and awesome youtuber. This is the best behind the scenes I ever watched. Thank you man.

Darious, brotha, you are an inspiration. Your filmmaking journey almost mirrors my own. I just want to say big ups for never quitting on your vision and going hard at your dream(s) regardless of the rejections and setbacks. Peace.
