It will all come back. As nothing happened. I had something very similar when ink was young. But now it's time to take care of yourself . You only handle stress mentally well . The body doesn't understand that , and when it's too much it lets you know.

@D4Darious Hey mate! PLEASE READ. I had similar problems for 2 Years, most likely due to a similar situation with stress, food and sleep. I also tried medication and shampoos with very mixed results and bad hair. I have long hair and started wearing hats too, what made it even worse, because 'it' likes warm, moist environment. About 6month ago i tried someting called MCT coconut oil, with a low or zero amount of lauric acid. Its basicaly a special but cheap kind of oil that does not feed the problem back, but also moisturizes. It worked for me almost instantly with minor fallback but continued to improve until i got my head back.☺️ PLEASE give this a shot. All the best! Simon

I knew something was wrong. I was def scared of the worst. Stay strong bru bruh. You have to work on this psychologically too. You state of mind contributes to your healing. This will gradually varnish if you get back to being yourself. Stay happy, stay proactive. Do more of things on your bucket list. The more you are worried about this, the more it comes back. It keeps coming back cos you keep trying to find a solution. No matter the treatment, your mind needs to be at peace for healing to be permanent. Stress of the mind is the biggest cause of this. I'm speaking from experience. Welcome back champ

I've had Vitiligo since I was pretty young, and was diagnosed pretty early on... It's super tough to come to terms with, so I totally feel you here. But I'm going on 10+ years of living with generally extreme Vitiligo (and with most of my spots on my neck, hands, and face) and I can say: It gets so much easier! All of these years later I've finally learned to appreciate having them, because it's truly such a unique thing that you're not likely to see many others with. I hope you get to this point too!

Dude, I've been struggling with psoriasis for over 10 years now, ever since I was 10-11 years old. It has taken over my body in full, thankfully I've got it under control in the last 4-5 months but still little changes in my diet over the course of months has made it flare up. This has been the case for the last 10 years, sometimes even flaring up so bad that there's not a single square inch of clear skin, just irritated, dry scaly skin. It has impacted my mental health, my social life, my studies and I feel isolated since there is no one else who can understand these issues. Seeing you getting better gives me hope. I'll try my best to do everything possible to get it under control. Edit: Also you have balls to share such a personal story publicly, cheers for that man🤝

Haha Id be in depression if I was in your situation, Id be trying so hard to get rid of it. If having it so bad 4 years back when I had to put creams and stuff on it for an hour or two and go to hospital for some ultraviolet thing was annoying, then trying to fix that is like fighting and uphill battle. People can understand you, just not those around you. Ive had to explain this to my 'friends' like 4 times atleast. Weird why they even ask questions about it since they clearly dont pay any attention to my answers.

(Fellow KZbinr here) - hmmmmmmmm - it's very interesting how we both don't only have autoimmune (I have hypothyroid & a bit of psoriasis on my elbows) - but our SLEEP habits are identical - no problem falling asleep around 10pm, but waking up at 3-4am and that's it - no more for me - it's been like this for at least 3-4 years - give or take. Now - here's a very strange turn of events that I'm going to share with you.. 1) vitamin C, make sure you're getting yours, directly linked to autoimmune 2) GYM! - I just came off of a week of COVID - and as such, for the first time in a LONG time, I took a good 2 week break from the gym. Darius - my sleep hasn't been this good in YEARS!. No little aches, pains etc.. just super deep rich sleep. I can't remember the last time I slept this good. 3) vitamin D - there are many studies showing that autoimmune isn't only linked to Vit D deficiency, but Vit D RESISTANCE - you might need to take far more than normal. Just some food for thought. Thank you so much for posting this!

It happened to me last year. After a couple of burnouts, hair loss, even a fun 6 months with facial paralysis, this thing showed up. worse than anything, I had to change my glasses, and any time I took mine of, and tried another pair at the store... I dusted the table, I was sweating with embarrasement. besides multiple projects and managing the business side of things., I just had my first kid, was building a home.. so now I am taking it slow, in the long run, what I gain by doing too much, will cost way more than I gained. letting go of things helped the most. going out in the daylight, daily, not once a week, also helped. it really contradicts the mentality of productivity that is popular nowadays, but you can't pe productive if you are sick, so take care of yourself. really good edit.

I have been struggling with Seborrheic Dermatitis for the last six months or so, flare ups followed by short periods of mild recovery - but it's always there. Fortunately my scalp issues are relatively mild in comparison to yours and are controllable with the shampoos. Not so much for my face. The Sleep Hygiene trigger sounds like a major factor to look out for - I have ME/CFS so my sleep quality is through the floor. Use this opportunity to develop a good work/rest life balance... it will stand you in good stead for the future. Hey man you’re an inspiration I’ve been watching you for a long time. I didn’t know you were a veteran. I am as well. I’m glad the VA was able to get you at least diagnosed. Living with chronic disease is tough but not impossible. Keep moving and you got this.

I've been dealing with psoriasis since high school and I'm now I'm in my 50's. Years ago I decided to take biologics even though they scared the hell out of me. The biologics worked really well although I am am having a a flareup on my hands right now. I'm hoping it is short lived. It's an awful disease most people don't understand. There's the fact that it's uncomfortable (or worse for some people) and then there's the embarrassment of just having it and not wanting to deal with the stares and weird looks. Not many understand that part of it and it takes a toll. Good luck!

Thank you for making this video, sorry you had to go through that, but these kinda stories always help me come to terms with my psoriasis every once in a while. I have it on my scalp, but also on my whole body, even my genitalia, which makes a lot of things very uncomfortable in life, such as showing yourself to sexual partners, it makes for some very awkward conversations. It has gotten a lot better with the years, had to change my diet and habits up a lot, but im suffering less so even if it means eating no gluten, milk etc., im fine with it. This disease just shows how important the image of oneself is. I have many more diseases, one of them might cause me to die early, but if i had to choose which one to get rid of, it would be psoriasis. I have suffered so much bc of it. So i feel you and i am happy that it has turned out the way that it has for you.

As someone who also has stress related health issues, I learned ‘handling stress well’ is not measured by your capability to endure stress, its about regulating the amount of stress you go through. Your body has likely responded to the amount of stress, with an actual immune response. At least that’s what happened to me. I ended up taking less hours at work, and using my free time to adopt a new philosophy that helped me to let go of feeling stress. That and also much longer sleep, which took a while to get used to, but eventually became routine. I hope some of this helps a little. You got this!

I have the same condition man. As someone who's always had long hair, I shaved my head for the first time which is allowing me to treat it more easily. It's really looking like I'm on the mend and I'm hoping this trend continues.. Wishing you the same on your journey brother. 👊 Thank you for sharing.

My heart goes out to you. I developed eczema back in early 2020, and my self-image has taken a big hit because of it. Suddenly a property that my skin never had, that was never a problem in my life, became something that I'm gonna have to deal with for the rest of my life. Thankfully, it's stayed away from my face, but I've had just about every other area on my body effected at some point. At its worst I want to say it was covering at least 60% of my body. Chest, sides, armpits, inner elbows, inner knees, thighs, and back. Right now it's mainly just on my inner knees and forearms, and the effected areas aren't as dry or irritated. I can deal with that. But I don't know when it might take over my body again. It's weird, because it doesn't spread so much as it moves. The effected area will expand, but only the edges of it are actually effected. I had a spot show up on one of my shoulders, then expand and take up my entire chest/neck/back area, and now it's worked it's way down to my forearms, but everything above them has gone back to normal. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I can relate to having your entire sense of self taken over by some flaky scales almost overnight. The early signs are easy to miss or underestimate, but once it snowballs it just takes your shit over.

I completely relate man. I have a receding hairline thanks to my genetics which is nowhere near your situation. I have to say that when I saw your face at the end of the video I was like hey he doesn’t look that bad. Then you revealed that it flipped on and flipped off. I can only imagine what you’re going through but ever realize that the Director is usually wearing a hat with the title of the film that he’s working on. Maybe there’s a correlation🤔. Take care man and can’t wait to see new content

If you ever read this I hope you look into the theories as to why it might work. My sister and I both have dealt with severe psoriasis on our scalp and "other places" sometimes as bad as your scalp, sometimes worse. A few years ago when I was 40 I decided to jump on the Keto & fasting trend. Keto seemed to help but when I started regularly doing 24-72 hour fasts, all of my psoriasis disappeared. ..completely. It was the first time in my life I didn't have a single hot spot. Even after I went back to eating normal, it was gone. My sister had it worse than me, so bad that at some points she lost 50% of here hair. When she started short term fasts, and cut out about half of her Carb everything went back to normal. (Not even a true Keto diet.) Her hair grew back and even with having bright fair skin, it was gone. Sauna's and semi-regular cold showers also could have helped, I'm not sure. I know it's not "Cured" but like how you explained it, it turned off like a light switch. For me it's been 3 years and it hasn't came back. Good Luck! Life is a struggle we can overcome.

Very interesting you mention this, Mike. My "little brother" (hes 25 and I'm 40) got hit with an autoimmune disorder this year. Started shutting down his liver and kidneys, he lost body strength and had severe aches and pains. High blood pressure, the works. It was a real crazy time. He scoured the interwebs and came across keto and fastting. Turned him right around. So, yeah, keto/fasting is definitely worth a shot, fam.

really hoping he sees this and other comments like this. there are many different diet experiements to help treat various auto-immune disorders, and the vast majority of them have no risk if done correctly, most even improve overall health. every body is different so a keto/fasting approach may not work for some, but i know it's worked for a LOT. there's no harm in trying... everyone with psoriasis should give it a good shot
