Very true. When you think how poor they were in the 1960s in the Claytons,yet so brilliant in the likes of the 14s, and of course the Paxman Valenta in the HSTs.

hello Phil6219 why not startup class 14 D9537 engine from the class 14 D9537 cab and and hold down class 14 D9537 start button in the cab instead on the class 14 D9537 Engine

Hi, from what I can remember the engine hadn't been wired up to the cab controls yet at this part of the restoration so we were forced to use the local controls.
