I'd use 늘었어요 (since it's not a descriptive verb and doesn't use ~지다) but the rest is perfect :D

I get the impression that Billy kills it during storybook time with the little one. I bet he does all the sound effects and really gets into it.

*다 보니까 "Realizing" | Live Class Abridged* 한국에서 살다 보니까 더운 날씨에 익숙해졌어요. After living in Korea for a while, before I knew it I’d gotten used to the hot weather. 아무 생각 없이 걷다 보니까 여기까지 왔어요. After walking a while I realized I got here without even thinking about it./ after walking a while I wound up here without even thinking about it. 너무 바쁘다 보니 전화를 할 시간도 없더라고요. Because I was so busy I realized I didn't have time to make a phone call. 제가 아침에 잘 일어나지 못 하다 보니 항상 버스를 놓쳤어요. I always miss the bus because I have a hard time waking up in the morning./Seeing as I always have a hard time waking up in the morning I missed the bus. 요리도 자꾸 하다 보니까 실력이 늘더라고요. After doing cooking for a while, before I knew it I had gotten better. 그 신발은 작았는데 신다 보니 늘어났어요. Those shoes were small but before I knew it they had stretched. 무거운 접시 만들다 보니 팔 힘이 세졌어요. After carrying heavy plates I realized my arms had gotten stronger. 처음에는 이해가 안 됐는데 계속 듣다 보니까 이해가 되네요. At first it didn't make sense but I realized after listening to it for a while it made sense.

I don't quite understand ''더라고요'' It means ''It happened'', but how do you use it and how is it different from using past tense form ''어/았어요''?

In every example, I noticed that you're referring to yourself. So I was wondering, can this be used to refer to other people? For example: After doing~, he/she/they realized~.
@GoBillyKorean

This form doesn't always have to be 1st person, especially with descriptive verbs, but it might be a bit strange to say something that someone else realized in this way directly - since you're implying you know that it happened while they were doing it, and implying that you know what it was they realized (you can't know what someone else is thinking in Korean). Instead, it would be better to simply say literally "They realized that..." with other grammar forms such as quoting forms, 알게 되다, etc. Or you can quote them with this form if they said it themselves.

@@GoBillyKorean Thank you so much for clearing that up! I, myself thought that it would be a little strange to use it in 2nd person, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks for all your hard work! 😊
