When you said "BREKKKCH" I lost it, I had to pause to laugh out loud. You're such a great teacher Billy!

이 수업이 중급 이라는 게 딱 맞아요! To call this an intermediate level lesson is exactly right! I really enjoyed this one! 👍

Interesting lesson! -> is a bit of an understatement. Will take some time to digest the lesson and form some practise sentences!

I'd love to see some lessons on Squid Game. Lots of cultural references, slang, and accents (especially from the girl from N Korea) to explore.

Hope someone can answer this! With the last two examples to mean 'the fact that' is the from still a quote at this point in the video? it's not 'the fact that some said something is called/named' ect. Is it just smily using 는 것 with 이다? How is it different to '인' How is 그게 잘 못인 걸 왜 모를까? and 그게 잘 못이라는 걸 왜 모를까? different?
@GoBillyKorean3 жыл бұрын
"(The fact) that" is just one way to translate it. It's best to understand what it literally means, but Korean and English don't literally translate in either direction. As for your question about ~인, that's simply 이다 in the adjective form (present tense). kzbin.info/www/bejne/infWl52rgtd2ic0

All these shortcuts in the Korean language drive me nuts! 건, 게, 널, 그럼, etc. But I guess English has I’m, don’t, ain’t, ‘cause, etc. too, so I shouldn’t complain too much…. (I shouldn’t… I’m trying to convince myself…)

If you're talking about pronouncing, then yes. The spelling does not change when using sound change rules.

Grammatically it makes sense, but logically it wouldn't. I can't think of a situation where you could say that.

I got a question, but it's kind of irrelevant to this video. like I was trying to see how to put words into a sentence but when I went to google translate, it added random sounds to it, what are those random sounds for?
