+Henny Lopez Wrong! Women didn't dress like that all the time, I was 16 years old in 1995 & women use to switch it up. One day I would something girly & the next day I may wear something baggy. Da Brat & TLC had their own style but women in the 90s didn't dress like that all the time.
@hennylo688 жыл бұрын
wanna3737 Yes they did, I was 15 and 16 in 95 also. I don;t mean in general everyday life. I'm talking ladies in Hip Hop. Salt n peppa switched it up. Other than that every lady in Hip Hop pretty much dressed like this. Until Kim then Foxxy came and changed it for all ladies in Hip Hop.

Nope and the best we can hope for is that some new artists pop up that make music like this as a throwback 90s sounding band. The world however is on that crazy pop sound they play everywhere now. One of the best songs ever made, period. Just a masterpiece of music and production....so flawless on so many levels. You don't encounter work like that much today! Plus the video looks so spontaneous as if they all just drifted together by chance and THAT happened. This is one of the songs you'd hear at a club and know in a few seconds the dance floor would be packed with so many other people just loving it. We see this today yet for so many decades black talent wasn't recognized and was so suppressed. All that time we didn't see much talent because of that cowardliness in production where they were afraid to be the first producer to back black talent. Bit by bit fences were taken down and people emerged to show the world what they could offer. When that happened the people that mainly controlled things got worried as in many areas the black talent completely overwhelmed the white talent and that made them uncomfortable. So suppression seemed to gain strength as white producers were deemed to be rejecting their own kind by producing black talent instead of realizing they were simply offering talent to the world irregardless of race. Its not fully there yet but its a whole lot better than before. We all need to recognize talent from wherever it comes from. That's always the best way to get things done. Just like they got things done in this song and video.
