DA close to finalising talks to form new government with ANC

Former DA leader Tony Leon says the party is close to finalising its talks to form a new government with the ANC. The ANC proposed a government of national unity after suffering a major loss in the May 29 polls. The ANC only managed to secure 159 of the 400 parliamentary seats in its worst-ever electoral showing. It now needs the support of other political parties to retain its majority.
