Ryan C must be very proud of this rendition. Listen to his acapella collection of Filipino compositions.

if this wasn't a choir performance, I would be thinking just men doing silly songs this performance is great. Who cares if they don't do the Filipino accent, the dance itself is cute and hilarious.

I wish I could just go back in time and show this to random important people. Like can I make alexander the great react to this? Socrates? Can we show some of those people in the past what the human race becomes please

That's not how it should be sang. The "accent" of the soloist is missing.

that's the best rendition actually of all the foreign choirs singing that song.

They're already teetering on the edge of getting called racist for the accent they're doing, cranking it up would be a big mistake 💀
@adixxx305629 күн бұрын
I mean don't get me wrong the performance is great but seriously every time I sing the song it has to be with the same accent as otherwise you aren't really singing "the" song but your own version of it that you created after learning the lyrics and changing the pronunciation. I don't think it is considered racist to sing a song the way it is originally sung to the best of your abilities. Although using your own accent isn't the bad part of this performance, what does make me a bit sad is when they fully changed the lyrics from the original to completely different words e.g. the guy on the very left singing the verse changed the words so much from the original.
@adixxx305629 күн бұрын
He says "on the roof, on the walls or against the eaves" instead of "for the roof, for the walls, up against the eaves" which is just too different from the original for me to not think it was partially ruined just from saying that
