The phase comes from the hip-hop culture, and is starting to catch on. you the youth here in Hawaii. Mahalo for the Daily Pidgin. Nānākuli Eā! chee...no Nānākuli mai au! I was in hawaiian lang. and I heard an aunty talking to someone from Kaupo, He was saying Maui no ka oe! She asked him in Hawaiian where you from? he said Kaupo! with a play on words she said back to him Kaupo hupo lol, meaning the people from Kaupo are stupid (joking). Then she was from Molokaʻi, so she said to him: Molokaʻi pule oʻo! The prayers from Molokaʻi are powerful. Are kupuna was too ʻakamai!
