They should have purchased a hot water heater that was heated using propane instead of having to build a fire with wood to heat the water. Propane would have been easier. Hassan should be the smart one but he blew it in buying the heater he bought.

It would make perfect steps without using any cement . No danger of falling when the snow and ice comes. When we camp and cook chicken wrapped like that we dig a hole in the ground and put the meat in it( wrapped up like you do it) then we cover it with the dirt and put the hot Coles on top . It heats everything under it. Not burning the meat.

Just a hint for all you men,when buying iceberg lettuce you can tell by the stalk how long since it has been cut from the ground.The lighter the bottom of stalk the fresher they are.Those old lettuce looks like they were ready to throw out to the chickens.😊

The area you made first to sleep, to the right of tent and new building….if it’s no longer used for sleeping, what if you turned it into the outside kitchen? It would give Mama and Mahen so much more room to prepare meals. Easier to close in as winter comes. As we watch , my husband and I try and think of what you could do with what resources you have to make life easier. I still think your trees would grow quicker and be healthier if you would fertilise them when you clean out chicken coop. If you would lightly mulch, they would not dry out so much. Easy and very helpful to make them stronger. Blessings to all. God is good.

That water tank doesn’t hold that much water. It’s not a natural hook up. I couldn’t see where you feel it up. It’s pretty tall and they have to put it up high to flow into the shower.

Happy shopping family. Glad to see Hassan is back in routine. WHY do you build the bathroom so far from the house. Now you have to climb uphill in snow and rain for a hot shower and slide downhill again. Use that room for storage and build bathroom next to the house. Put a door between the house and bathroom, then you never have to go out on the cold!
