DAB Motors Concept-E RS electric motorcycle

Last weekend Dab Motors were at the Shed offering those brave enough to be open minded about electric motorcycles a ride on one around London Town.
The bike in question is their rather strikingly beautiful and minimal in design Concept-E RS.
We pulled Simon (Founder and CEO) aside for 10 mins to find out more about this modern machine and recorded it for you guys to learn a bit more!
Gareth also had his first spin on an electric bike, although he might need a bigger size...

Absolutely love where the electric bike scene is going! Out of my price range, but all the custom made bikes are so that a me problem 😅 Whomever invents the right sound for these bikes is going to become very rich!

The bike reminds me of the foldable motorcycle from Oblivion with Tom Cruise. But just electric. 👍🏻

This looks straight up like a prop form a sci fi movie. Being french i feel i should still take the opportunity to go check these guys out one time. The company being so small scale it gets its *unique* vibe to it, for the better... and worse. Since this is some handmade labor of love it costs as such. its totaly understandable but also kind of sad, i wish i could pick up to mess around with while looking sci fi. Imagine with the matching gear on you, screeching around town at night, that would be crazy. Though selling a kidney for the memes may be too much for me there.

The sleek design of it looks awesome 👍👍 , i would definitely use it as my go-to daily ride to and from work and ride around town ......i wonder if it's going to hit the market here in the US for people to buy or it already did

Stunning design! What a pity about that rear number plate though - really spoils the design. Maybe with a bit of smart design of the seat/rear light section it could be more attractive?

The lack of engine noise would worry me more than torque, which I love. I don't find it stunning at all. Fun to ride, I bet, though. 25K. I wouldn't pay a quarter of that.

Id like to know how theyre getting a top speed of 65 mph from 52volts and a huge rear sprocket.... because no other company out there seems to be able to do it wo at least a 72 volt battery.

Ok I just looked on the web sight and this thing tops out at 65 mph that’s just fast enough to ride on the highway no way any sane persons paying why they are askin a bike that you can ride like 100 miles and only go 65mph looks cool but for less you can get an as absurdly priced live wire that will go 100 miles an hr( once needs tinker it will go faster it’s governed to only do 100 and you can ride like at least in the low 200 miles and you can take it to a dealership when it breaks this is wild y’all trippin
