Of EVERYTHING that CEO gave that man, the chance to spend time w his brothers, being rewarded a helmet from his favorite team, working to fix a problem that most people wouldn't even bat an eye at, ALL that gentleman was ready to talk about was a donation to an organization that he felt so strongly about! That is so true. It was scary and when my brother finally stopped the tape, my dad woke up and he was pissed. My dad could fall asleep listening to Bob Dylan and have no nightmares. I used to be so afraid that my dad would have nightmares, because he was listening to Bob Dylan as he would fall asleep. I once stopped the record for fear he would have nightmares and my dad woke up and asked why I stopped it. Of course, I never told him why, but my mom knew.

My Uncle Joe was drafted in 1966 and served 2 tours in Vietnam 67-69, Armored Cav. out of Fort Campbell Kentucky. When he was discharged in 1970 my Dad(his older brother) and my Mom drobe from Detroit Michigan to Ft. Campbell and picked him up and brought him home because they didn't want him taking the bus or train the military bought for them at the time. I wad ho.e on leave in 94 and Selfridge Air National haurd base in Mount Clemens Michigan was have their open house weekend and an air show as well. My Uncle had asked if he would present some awards he and other Vietnam Vets were finally recieving after over 20 years of government beaurocratic b.s. I had already served in Honduras in 87, Panama in 89 and the first Gulf War and he told me he wanted someone that understood what he went through over their and not some Lt. Colonial that read about Vietnam in a book. So I spit shined my jump boots, had my class A uniforn dry cleaned and made sure all my ribbons and badges were in proper order under the UCMJ. When I presented my Uncle with his long over due awards and ribbons I damned well made sure my shit was squared away and tight. That was one of this biggest honors I ever experienced in my 20 years. I was truely honored. I also had the honor and privilege of standing honor guard at my Uncle Laurens funeral. He was a combat Marine and served a tour in the Korean War. When he passed, he want a family member to stand honor guard if there was one serving. The 2 most proudest moments of my time in service I hope this comment finds you and all your loved ones safe and in good health.

Feels like $5k dollars is a pretty small donation considering the scale of their business

Douglas I'm a retired 20 year combat vet with 7 deployments I can tell you that any $5000 donation to any veteran organization is a solid amount and deeply appreciated. $5 grand in comprehensive assistamce can go a long way. I donate my entire federal and state imcome rax returns to the wounded warrior prohram and the Gary Sinese foundation.

@@JoeBuck207 to give everybody some context MGM casinos make $3.7 million a day from their table and slot games. As a proportion of my income that would be like me giving a few pence to a charity and yes i gave alot more than a few pence to charities.

@@darrenheadrick3669 you are a good man sir and yes any donation is good but!… MGM casinos make $3.7 million a day from their table and slot games. As a proportion of my income that would be like me giving a few pence to a charity. Of the two, you probably donate a far higher amount as a proportion of your income than this guy does.

Vietnam is such a tragedy all around, I know so many vets who are still carrying unseen wounds from that needless war.
