Does the show ever explain why there's a camera crew there? With all the different angles you know they do retakes. A new employee is going to confront the owner,with that camera crew filming, YUP looks legit to me

I worked for a plumbing contractor in the 90's & never heard of plumbers paid on commission. Yes, our plumbers received a portion of every fixture installed but also a decent hourly wage. None of them felt cheated. But I would like to know why it recently cost me $500 for a plumber to take an hour to install a lifetime free-replacement water heater? I understand I needed to pay for his time & he installed a metal drip pan under the new one, but $500 seems really excessive.

If the cameras weren’t rolling that side work would’ve got him fired regardless how good he was

I dont really know how this show is setup, but the premise seems silly. Im gonna be undercover to get the employees honest opinion and true working conditions. But also ignore the camera man getting our closeups. Just act natural cuz anything you do or say while being filmed likely wont make its way and be revealed to your superiors and managers anyway.

Sounds like Walmart. I worked for Walmart back in the 90's and the assistant managers would go MIA if something went wrong or they were being paged to help. There were a couple assistant managers that would help but they were given their own projects by the store manager that they couldn't help or help for very long.
