Sadly, very few today have any remote idea, above all appreciation of the unparalleled exceptionalism of what is before one's eyes in this video. Today, what goes for a bike is all prefabricated Made in China pop out plastic. For that matter today's (oh so now) bike shops can't even build a bike, let alone build a wheel, mount a sew up. They just open a box, pull out the plastic and call it a "bike".

Beautiful build as usual. How do you rate the Somec frames against other better known brands such as Colnago and Bianchi etc?
@dabrestauracion74042 жыл бұрын
Hi, friend!!! Well I must say they are excellent frames. They have different lines of construction with columbus tubes. They will not have as many names, because their marketing resources were not as great as those of the brands that you have described to me. But I must say that the types of paint they used are spectacular for that time, thanks to the master painter M. Martini. They also have frames with really beautiful fitting finishes. 30 seconds into the video and two big mistakes. 1- never clamp the top tube, should put the saddlepost and hang it there 2- the BB threader has 2 parts and you should use both to make sure that the BB is aligned. I stopped watching. Before posting videos know what you are doing
@dabrestauracion7404 Жыл бұрын
Hi, friend!!! 1º this bicycle is made of steel, you can take it from wherever you want, it also has an aerodynamic seatpost which makes the seatpost slide off the mounting support of the bicycle with the weight of the components (I don't know if you know or have never ridden none like that). Apparently you see many "DREAM BUILD" assemblies where everything is carbon and there you do have to take it from the post, since you don't have a good support bracket on the frame. 2º What has been done in the bottom bracket shell, has been a simple cleaning of the paint that may have gotten into the thread of the bottom bracket shell. No new thread has been made (so it is not necessary to align, it is simply inserted and cleaned) and 3rd I do not tell anyone how to do their jobs, I only show how I do mine. If I do it wrong for you, I respect it, I'm not perfect. What should you do when someone has another way of working that is not like yours? All the best ; )
