FC Dallas has more combined followers on social media sites then Dinamo Zagreb does 🤷. The Dallas metropolitan area itself is twice the population of the whole country of Croatia. But sure you can say Dinamo is more “known” just because they’re seen in the UCL getting beat on every year. But in terms of fans, FC Dallas has more… we can use attendance figures too, Dinamo averaged around 9,000 in 2024, FC Dallas averaged 18,000-19,000.

@@DaBronco The counter arguments would be: 1- Zagreb fans follow their team because they're passionate, how many of the social media Dallas FC followers only follow because it's their hometown's team? 2- Metropolitan numbers don't matter unless every person in that statistic is a football fan 3- Dallas has a bigger stadium + away tickets sold (compare MLS teams to lower table croatian teams) + unfortunately in football if a game is deemed "easy" people don't go to it as often (which happens a lot in leagues like Croatia). Especially if the game is right after people get off work, also very common

I brought up metropolitan numbers to show the sheer size difference between the communities surrounding the club, to show why you shouldn’t be surprised that FC Dallas has more fans. If you bring up per capita then you may have a point, but we’re talking sheer numbers here. 3. That isn’t a counter argument that’s an excuse. Also Maksimir stadium’s capacity is 25,000. Toyota stadium is only 20,500. So not only is that not a valid counter argument, it’s a lie 😂

@@DaBronco you can use all the stats that suit u and im fine with that,the fact is dinamo zagreb is a historical club,seeded in europe and plays almost every year in the champions league, every big club from the outside big 5 leagues are far more known than mls clubs excluding inter miami because of messi,the big 3 in portugal,big 3 in netherlands,big 2 in serbia,big 3 in turkey,salzburg in austria, dinamo zagreb in croacia,coppenhagem in denmark...there is no problem with that but just because u are a football fan that watches the premier league and some big games here and there,dont try to put down smaller leagues in europe
