I see the 3rd one happening all the time. Lower-mid level players tend to knock people off the stage then just start dash dancing or, short hop spamming, or charging specials instead of applying pressure in one of the best times to do it! conditioning is simple . see how your opponent is reacting to your options/ decisions and create a counter play . simple example : if you keep running up and doing aerials but your going over your opponents head , go for more grabs , dash attacks , projectiles , etc to compel them into the air . if they spot dodge or roll then overshoot . give them a reason to “ want “ to be in the air and then take away that reason with your aerials . soon you will be controlling their actions . unless they succeed in conditioning you first .

For Zoners, in general, they put themselves in the corner by nature that it drives me crazy when I play against them. Robins especially I try to tell them to prioritize stage control because his disadvantage is poor to begin with and he certainly doesn't have the greatest mobility when it comes to getting past his opponent.

Thank you for the tips. I'm very curious about the last one. Why people do that? Isn't it because it works very well at lower level, they feel safer protected by the ledge, can camp or back throw. So how can a middle level player learn do deal with this situation? For example I want to learn a new character, I choose PT and focus on squirtel. Even at 500 000 gsp I have a lot of trouble against a Zelda doing this.
