I jus gotta say the fact that y’all show genuine interest in understanding and appreciating hip hop/rap, trap, neosoul, rnb etc. (trying to be p.c. But f it) the fact that ur showing genuine interest in the culture is probably one of the biggest reasons I seeing myself and the black community are gravitating to this channel. We can feel the genuine love u have for our music and culture and all I can say is thank you for shining a light on all the amazing works legends in our culture deserve. Thanks ❤️

A couple of Neo Soul artists I think you’d both enjoy are Jill Scott (Love Rain) and India Arie ( Ready for Love) and Bilal (Sometimes).

I’ve heard this song many times, but after how the son laid out her history, it was a must to listen again. Loved it! 🌞

Wow can’t believe I haven’t heard this tune before thank you for introducing this to me! Will be rinsing her music out now. Love this channel, love the concept. You both seem like genuine decent people too, keep it going guys I’ve only just discovered this channel and watched all your videos. I love the rap reactions the most as I wish I could do this with my own dad and have him appreciate some of the gems there are in the genre. As he was mainly rock and rubbished all the rap I loved growing up in the 90’s and 2000’s. So is great to see your dad loving some of them.

I think Dad should see the visuals for these songs as well after hearing the song first. Let him soak in the music, THEN soak in the beautifully powerful visuals to these songs. He would so appreciate it ❤️ I LOVE YOU GUYS! Keep up this great content! And again, I suggest a series where Dad introduces us to HIS faves from his day.
