It's way to common, sadly. I was put into foster care at age 5, after being abused by my biological father, since I was born, and the cops would show up after my biological mom and I were beaten and bruised and say they couldn't do anything because there were no eye witnesses...except for the neighbors who heard and knew what he was doing and reported it. 🙄🙄🙄 Sadly it took my baby sister dying, and my birth mom almost dying before anything was done. He didn't stay in jail though, went on to have my three younger half siblings while I was in foster care, and abused them as well until my three younger siblings were also put into foster care.

the "father" thought that the boy was fat? or was it just that he simply didn't like him and used that as an excuse to torment him?
@TRex-dd4ze
@TRex-dd4ze 6 ай бұрын
Yeah used as an excuse. And the thing is, even if the kid was fat, that's on the parents (and genetics and growing up). A kid doesn't exactly cook up his own dinner or is born having particular eating habits. So taking it out on the child is awful. It's not right.

@TRex-dd4ze
@TRex-dd4ze 6 ай бұрын
@@Maspets This was not normal exercise either. When someone falls off a treadmill like that, it means it's going too fast and you slow it down. It's also not a two person exercise, where one person holds the other above the belt physically forcing him above and on it. That's not how it works. This isn't exercise. The kid is likely super anxious and super afraid as the dad uses fear and intimidation and the threats of harm to control, and even physically grabbing the child and making him do all this. So, if you think only good intentions from the dad, well then he's doing it wrong and his child was harmed. Even with good intentions, the dad is at fault.
@Maspets
@Maspets 6 ай бұрын
@@TRex-dd4ze I sure as hell do not. My comment was meant to PREVENT anyone from normalizing trying to force kids to get "healthy" in such ways. I can imagine an alternative situation where this would be glorified if the kid didn't die and got "fit" from it. I can imagine everyone talking about "fat Americans" and saying this is better.

Initially, I thought the mother should have been charged too because I felt she had to know something. I was wrong! This mother told everyone who would listen about the abuse. She took pictures, she took video, she submitted reports to the courts and to CPS. Report after report was ignored because the two were locked in a custody dispute. I find it so incredible that a person would abuse a child they clearly didn't care about, all while fighting for custody! That's sick and twisted. This guy deserves to be under the jail ALONG WITH THE JUDGE WHO DENIED THE MOTHER'S EMERGENCY CUSTODY PETITION THE DAY BEFORE THE CHILD DIED! How do these judges live with themselves when they clearly ignore thing after thing and just leave the kid exposed to the abuser?
