Gorillas have about 25 different vocalizations. Momotaro is usually fairly quiet. So to hear him whistling so smoothly compliments his calm demeanor. Such a beautiful sound. He's handsome in appearance and truly magestic.

Since Momotaro was born in captivity, I wonder if the siren sounded similar to him like another gorilla whistling, and he responded also with a whistle. At any rate Genki was totally surprised and impressed...lol

I feel closer to these animals everyday. You can learn much from observing their mannerisms, interactions and even eyes. When the Silverback whistled. It was haunting. I would give anything to know what he communicated at that moment. I don't know if they weep like humans...but it appeared his eyes welled up.

Wow! I think that’s the first time I herd Momotero make any noise. I was suprise how low and mild it was. Also in beginning Kintero up at top window doing KING KONG impressions was awesome.
