I'm 18 live with my parents, my dad is a great dad, but he works too much and he's always too tire to help me with anything. About 2 months ago, he saw me watching one of your videos. When i explained what your channel was about, and why i watched your videos, he apologized to me, he called himself a bad father (which he's not) and promised to do better. Since that day, my dad's been more present in my life, we watch your videos together now, i have 2 great dads :')

I don't have a dad figure in my life. The closest one was my moms boyfriend, but as of now him and my mom just broke up, so she's been arguing with him on the phone all day. Tonights my junior prom and there was no one around to help me tie my tie. I saw this video and your kind and sweet voice made me feel like I actually had a dad, teaching me to tie my tie. I may just be a stranger on the internet, but you made me feel like someone actually cared about me going to prom, like you we're proud of me. Never stop what your doing. To some, it's a nice tutorial. But to others, it means the world.

I lost my dad 8 years ago. My cousin passed away a week ago and he has 3 young children and it broke my heart knowing they are going to have the same pain of thinking, "I wish my Dad was here to teach me," or "I wish i could call my Dad, he'd help me figure it out." And then I come across videos like this and pray they find comfort the way I do in even knowing there are great male role models willing to be a good influence Bless you and all the good father figures 🙏🏽

I lost my dad when I was 11. Growing up it was just my mom and me and she gave me so much love I didn’t really notice the absence of my dad. Now I’m 25 and I think I’ve learned the importance of roles of both parents and how much I’ve missed learning emotionally and mentally without a dad. So thank you for creating a channel for helping so many others out there.

Well it’s feels weird starting this but growing up I never had any role model who I could look up to,I never even knew how to do many things that comes handy on day to day task. On 23rd feb I turned 18, and through my whole teenage this Channel has helped me alot. I just still 2 year ago I was tearing up trying my best not to cry when I heard him saying “I am proud of you” those words are the best words I heard as my people constantly compared me to other and never was satisfied with anything I did. Today seeing this video reminded me of the old times, when I used to be late for school and didn’t knew how to tie a ties,I saw your video and it helped me. Thank you dad for being there for me whenever I needed help. I hope I could be half the man you’re and hope my children look up to me as I look up to you.

That's a half Windsor. I once learned several other knots, but the half Windsor is the best, only one you really need. A full Windsor creates a huge knot unless your tie is really thin.
