Thanks, Dad! My landlord refuses to replace my 60+ year old toilet, so I'm just gonna do it myself. Thanks!

60 years old? That toilet might have been used by someone born in the 1800s. That's like a... shartifact?

Is it a pretty colour? Mid-century toilet, sounds interesting.

Hi, it's a Russian friend, accidentally came across you, you're an amazing person, it's hard without a father, you have to learn everything yourself, it's sometimes hard, but at the expense of people like you, life becomes easier, thank you for your creativity, unfortunately, I don't understand English, and I write it with a translator, but the meaning is clear through the language barrier

Русский друг, Яндекс браузер в помощь, там есть автопереводчик для видео. А так конечно нужно язык уже начать учить, в 2к24 без английского никак

I ended up putting it off, but today was the day-I swapped out the toilet in my “kids” bathroom (my sons are both in their 20s now). I’d watched your video a few days ago, but I replayed it today as I worked. It was very reassuring (home repair is not my wheelhouse). I lost my Dad two years ago but you have a very similar vibe. He would’ve used a cut down container as a scoop too. Made it all seem approachable. Thanks, Dad!

As someone who did plumbing for a couple years, would not recommend changing your own toilet if you aren’t comfortable replacing the flange that the toilet bolts to because there’s a decent chance that the existing one is worn out. Also have something to shut the water to your house off in case the shutoff valve does not shut off all the way!

Thank goodness! Our toilet has been giving us trouble at home and with two women in the house we had no idea where to even start. Thanks Dad!!

Good idea to put more wax on top to create a better seal. I sit onthe toilet before I tighten the screws so the wax ring is compressed.

If you place the bucket lower than the watertank you can place a tube in both and with an initial suck from the end thats placed in the bucked, gravity will pump out the rest of the water. And if you're scarred to get a gulp of that water into your mouth, you can even place a pre-filled tube in both and pull away the finger from the end once it is placed.
@MissBabalu1024 ай бұрын
Yes, I'm scared of that gulp! I vaguely understand the pre-filled tube, from being a kid myself.

Just today I changed the windshield wipers on my car watching your video. A little tip dad, could you give an approximate price you think is ok for the products you use in the videos, it would be very helpful, the windshield wipers I bought were overpriced without knowing it. Sorry for my English, greetings from Mexico, love you dad.

Hi! I’m not dad but I switched to a plant based diet, hydration with tons of water (no sodas or sugary drinks) and moisturizing (get a sensitive skin one or even a plant based one. Also I use curel hydrotherapy immediately out of the shower before I towel off). All this cleared my KP right up. Good luck!
