Great reaction! This album swept all the main Grammy categories, winning 10 between Billie and her brother Finneas. Today they have 19 Grammys and 4 Oscars between them. Billie now 22 is 3rd on Spotify - over 100 mil monthly listeners. Amazing, once in a gen talents. I like her early EP and 2nd album just as much, yet they garnered no Grammys. Her latest album is excellent!!!! Thanks again.

Since you mentioned X during "I Love You", Billie and X were good friends. The song does sound similar to his song "alone part 3". She also has a tribute song for him called "6.18.18", but it was not officially released.

Bad Guy was BT advert, it was what made me look for Billie Eilish lol, you have got to think, she was 13/14 and her brother Finneas was 17/18, when they caught the publics eye with Ocean Eyes

This was her first album, and it immediately blew her into the stratosphere, winning 5 grammys. Her and her brother FINNEAS wrote and produced everything in their childhood bedroom. She was 17 and he was 20. They'd been writing and producing music together since they were super young, and the first thing that ever came out was a song called "Ocean Eyes", which they put on soundcloud when she was 15. It became massive and its what made her famous. Its insaane how young she is on this album and even the ones coming after. You guys should reaaally listen to her new album, the one that just came out, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. its insane. its incredible. its the best album and work of art I've heard in a loong time. Its something else. again. like always when they makes something hahah Glad you guys enjoyed it!! Loved your reaction:D

I think these days due to streaming being the primary way we consume music and artists having the ability to connect to their fans more through social media, you have these artist's that become huge with more introspective albums that wouldn't have been played on the radio before.

This was the album that hooked me and now I've been a fan for several years. She has wonderful Jazz and R&B tones in her live stage singing too. I am convinced that she must be a bit mystical... bit of the Fae blood in both her and her brother. She has a hypnotic voice.

A little tip, you should watch a couple of her live performances, including some legendary older covers she’s done when she was 14-15 ish (yup, that young). Specifically: - End of the World (bbc radio 1) - You don’t get me high any more (also bbc radio 1) - Bad (like a version) - Merry little Christmas (Saturday Night Live) I also recommend watching the following live performances: - all the good girls go to hell (on Howard stern) - when the party’s over (on Howard stern) - no time to die (Brit awards) - I love you (Greek theatre) - Bitches broken hearts (live vevo) Some of my favourite tracks of hers aren’t on any albums: - The 30th - When I was older - Lovely - Everything I wanted - What was I made for The songs she’s done aside from her albums and her EP are enough for two more albums, basically.

The person singing with Billie on “I love you” is her brother Finneas. He produces and co-writes all the songs with her. He plays a bunch of instruments as well. And makes his own music.

Really enjoyed the reaction. Watched all of it, right to the end. I'll make two comments. One is about Xanny. It's really an anti-corruption and anti-drug message, especially prescription drugs like xanax that are over prescribed to kids her age. Silver Lake she mentions in the song was the center of deaths due to medications supplied by global drug companies. Around the time this song came out, congress passed a law making it illegal to sue drug companies for these deaths. My second comment is about "you should see me in a crown". It's a line from the character Moriarity from the BBC Series "Sherlock". In the original Doyle text, the reference is to a spider's web tangled in underworld crime. In the music video, Billie plays with real spiders crawling all over her. Incidentally, all her songs and music were written with her brother and no one else. They recorded the entire album in a room about half the size of your room in this video. They had even less equipment than you have.

YES YES YES!!! Great reaction, I love this album. I remember listening to Billie back in like 2017 and when this album was out in 2019 (at 16/17 years old)… everyone knew this would take to new levels of success. Winning 5 Grammy all the main categories at 18 years old. Her brother finneas helps her write all her songs and produces all her songs. Imagine being a 9 time Grammy winner, 2 time golden globe, & 2 time Oscar winner at 22 years old. She’s heavily influenced by Tyler the Creator & Childish Gambino.

Oh I would love to see more of you reacting to Billie and Finneas. It's bizzare she is such a popular artist but her sound and visual are so unusual. Also a brillant live performer. She mends so many different genres from pop, alternative, rock, bossa nova, edm, trap, jazz. You will love her music. Her new album is her best in my opinion. Also fun fact about you should see me in a crown is that it eas inspired by moriarty from sherlock.

Then maybe her new album and back to the "Happier Than Ever" album. Or whatever. But I love your reaction - I'd love to see how you respond to here genre-less music. LOL

Imo even if it's "edgy" still her best. This album was HUGE and elevated all the other alternative pop songwriters, that came before or after. I recommend Lorde - Melodrama, Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rothwell, Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS, if you want others Charli XCX - BRAT if you're feeling even more experimental from this year

Hi here’s other female artist suggestions: I’d love for you guys to react to Doja Cat, starting off from either the album Planet Her (more recent), or Hot Pink. Her most recent album’s Scarlet, but I suggest getting into that later. Doja’s a rapper and singer. She produces and writes her own music and is insanely talented with her lyrics. Would be great you guys got into her music. I think she’s one of the best female rappers out now, behind Nicki Minaj who pioneered the modern female rap scene. Another artist yall would love is Rihanna! She’s been featured in a couple of songs you’ve already reacted to. Her last album ANTI is legendary. Thanks!
