It’s NOT A CGI snake. Billie doesn’t use CGI and all her videos are somewhat dangerous. It’s her thing.
@BooBuKittyPhuk Жыл бұрын
She has used CGI, but not when its unnecessary. She tries to do as much as humanly possible with real things like a real snake, real locations and practical effects
@vinzdorier Жыл бұрын
This snake is 100% CGI when it's wrapped around her tho. When you know where to look, it's pretty clear : the shadows give it away, as well as the movements of the snake in comparison with her own movements. But when the snake is just laying on her knees, it looks real.
@lil4817 Жыл бұрын
@@vinzdorier No, not CGI 100%, you can check out pictures of her holding the snake

@@lil4817 CGI 100% in some shots, especially the one when it's around her neck. And yes the snake is real in other shots, like at the beginning. I expect that they used footage of the real snake to create the CGI shots and make it look more real, but the shadows don't lie.

Great reaction, and the 1st I've seen, that illuminates why Billie and Finneas are so highly regarded in the industry. The subtle brilliance of Finneas' production combined with the utter beauty of Billie's voice, dear God, her voice... I have 6 decades on this planet and they are the greatest talents I've ever encountered.

Im 40 and I LOVE her voice and her charisma and attitude in her voice and her personality… It’s like she is a modern Marylin Monroe character.. i don’t even know how explain it. She is amazing and her brother too!! For me the youngest and most complete talented artists of this century. Hands down, they do interesting music. I can’t wait to see their works in the future.. if they are so creative and great at this age.

A weird idea to look into, and often doesn't escape it's own little world, is the world of video game music. Well, I know that the load of spiders on her MV "you should see me in a crown" were not CGI. In particular, the one coming out of her mouth was her pet tarantula. That was real too. Billie doesn't much like CGI, and now she directs the music videos herself, so it's most likely the snake was just an unoffensive species, but unashamedly real.

I love it you’re talking about the spatial audio so they teamed up with special audio because of the way they do their production and Finneas did a whole interview about it that when you were talking about the cat being off-center he does that on purpose it’s two cakes and then they specifically do it so that it bounces back-and-forth so you’re surrounded in nothing but sounds and it has you just constantly wanting to look around and really submerge yourself in this song I love the way he described it as an internal invisible roller coaster that you never know where it’s going to take you

Would love to hear your thoughts on the band twenty one pilots

Man the guitar production on this is really interesting too. Sounds like 2 different acoustic tracks panned opposite of each other, with some harmony stuff going on. But I’d swear that when the percussion kicks in, part of it is the sound of palm muted chords on an acoustic as a kind of kick drum sound. Wild shit.
@rome81803 жыл бұрын
They're also very out of time with each other. But purposefully so. I'm guessing he doubled it fairly tightly but then added a delay to one of the guitars. They don't sound accidentally out of time in the way they would if you just played it sloppily.

I love this channel for the way you LISTEN to each song and explain what's goin' on; for your choice of muso(s) featured in each episode (I wasn't into Billie and Finneas and their oeuvre---until NOW!); and for your bare honesty and humility in the face of sometimes staggering talent. 🤍 As for the python shots: the only time you see the snake moving is in close-up (probably a stand-in dressed like Billie). And when the drone seems to be moving away in the outro, the 'snake' twisting around her neck, shoulders and torso like a scaly shawl, isn't moving: a realistic rubber prop, probably. Because you're correct: they wouldn't have risked their chanteuse's safety without an animal wrangler at the ready. Ah, the special effects inherent in livin' L.A. vida loca... 🙃
