‘Danger‘ is the lead track from BTS’ second full-length studio album, released in 2014, entitled ‘Dark & Wild.’ Throughout the song, the band members express their sentiment of a one-sided teenage relationship. The track is accompanied by a stark music video and extremely elaborate choreography. One of the BTS members, Suga, explained: ‘Our title track this time is ‘Danger’, the melody line took an exceptionally long time. This melody was not composed by us - a well-known foreign composer Thanh worked on it. [The final tracks were done abroad. The recording was also done abroad - we recorded it in America. It was recorded during the filming of ‘American Hustle Life.’ Recording in a studio abroad was really fun. For someone making music in South Korea, it seems like a dream. We reminisce about working with skilled music engineers.’

It was a dance practice that was my intro to BTS in 2014... but Danger was the song that sealed the deal later. I think I listened forever before we got the translation. Back then, Korean BTS ARMY was so important for these things. BTS was struggling with the Dark andcWild album... but mainly, it was a struggle there in Korea because they were getting a lot of hate from those who thought they were being too ambitious for an unknown group from a small, broke label. Honestly, a lot of that was planted from the big 3 music labels because they didn't like the traction BTS got at first. A lot of dirty stuff was done to them. But K-ARMY kept them going... and shared with others of us around the globe who had taken notice. That got BTS enough interest to appear in other countries and do a small tour. Once they got a foot in the western market... International ARMYs pushed it from there. The Korean music industry couldn't shut us down the way they had been trying to do to them in Korea. For me, it was fun because it gave me something to concentrate on other than my own loss and sadness. We were on a crusade with BTS, and we weren't backing down. Because of KZbin and message boards. BTS could reach us without the mainstream media. The big 3 labels had (still do) the mainstream media in Korea in their back pocket.... so they could shut them out TV broadcasts, music shows, variety shows, etc. But they couldn't shut down BTS on the internet. BTS ARMY built a web of connections around the world to share it.... and it grew... and continues to grow from there.

First, THANK YOU for your hard work in the early years supporting and helping BTS grow. I came along in 2016 when they were just starting to get some traction and real recognition. Those were the days when the fandom of the chosen Kmedia "darlings" E*O were out for BTS/ARMY blood because they dared threaten their princes' throne. Back then it was my daily mission to fight alongside my I-ARMY and K-ARMY family to protect our precious boys from those vicious, dirty, non-stop attacks. Now, so many years later, look what our "underdogs" have achieved. I'm so freaking proud to have been by their side to this day, and I'll be here till the day I die. 💜

We aren't making our share off these guys, so let's manipulate the stats so they can't blow up the charts. But it's okay... because they have us, and they are not only 7 any longer. Now it's the job of older ARMYs to reassure the Baby ARMYs that everything is possible with Borahae & APOPANGPO... TOGETHER and not fall for silly in-fighting. 💜 The only threat to BTS is ARMY fighting ARMY... and some of the big 3 have figured that out and use the media to start it.

Those english subs are just awful and incorrect. Unfortunate that you chose this video rather than the MV that most reactors react to. Danger was my first taste of BTS, particularly with Jimin, whom I saw at the center, chubby cheeks and all. From that point on, Jimin became my bias - no turning back. Five years later and that still hasn't changed. I'm an old, old gal but I like what I see. I concur with most of the commenters - Danger dance practice is not to be missed.🤩

I learned this isnt a good song to drive too. I mean it is but I feel like they are warning me that Im in Danger. And then later the horn beeps. Its a double edge sword because its bada$$ song to drive with the windows rolled down but at the same time Im in Danger. This was the video that Jimin sucked me in.
