My father introduced me to music. The first album he gave me was NWA. Sadly he passed last year. I’m sure you get a lot of request im new here but, if you could ever find it in your heart to listen to it “hurricane by bob dylan” its definitely not your normal music but its about Ruben carter a famous boxer being framed for a robbery he didn’t commit solely because he was black. The story is truly heartbreaking and the song is incredible. I think you guys would enjoy it. It’s very different from your normal stuff. But I think it would fit well with the way you guys dissect and converse about lyrics. It’s kinda of an odd request but, my father passed and it’s the most meaningful song he introduced to me. It introduced me to racism and unfair treatments. It would be amazing to see you guys sit and listen to see your reaction. Sorry for the small donation I don’t have much. It brings me happiness seeing you two enjoy music especially hip hop as I love New York era rap. Either way God bless you two cherish all these moments

The sample is from Dragostea Din Tei by a Moldovan/Romanian group from the late 90s/early 2000s, O-Zone. The song is still a huge thing in Europe, which is impressive since it’s completely in Romanian. People normally refer to it as the “numa numa” song and the main vocalist from the band actually released a “numa numa 2” a few years ago and it has almost 200M views.
