Part of that was contributed with the use of a pitching machine. That tends to wear down durability of the bat. I don’t let my son use his composite bat at the cages or pitching machines during practice. He uses another bat for those.

Every bat is a little different but for the most part composite bats get hotter as they get used. The composite fibers and epoxies start to break down and give the bat more trampoline effect. That’s why they usually have a break in period, the newer bats may be using different composite materials or you may have a dud. I do need to qualify some of my experience, I’ve got over 80 composite men’s softball bats and gone through around 20 baseball bats for my son. Now you are showing an Easton ADV 360 and they are good bats but have restrictors in them that control the performance of the bat. Not saying you are wrong but your bat may have an issue inside.

Honestly that's a fuck ton of hits for one bat to endure, I just don't like those bats, for some reason a lot of kids are using them lately. They sound freaken terrible out the wrapper and are expensive. I understand their hot but i think part of catching a good barrel is the sound it makes, lets a young hitter know he/she caught one. Idk just me i guess.

We bought the same bat for my 7yr old last month. 1 day in the batting cage and it now has a crack along the joint between the barrel and the handle. Unfortunately we bought it new through eBay so we’re SOL on warranty. These bats are junk.

My son has one , it’s has spider cracks but it’s the hottest bat on the team , it’s only for game use ,, no batting practice

Any ideas on how many hits are on the bat (roughly)?
@chade68628 ай бұрын
I would say , over 1,000 ,, 2 seasons of ball and other kids hitting the bat also

Looking to buy this bat for my son, he’s gonna be 9. Seasons almost over for us, we have 4 more tournaments only. Do you think it’s worth buying? On the fence waiting until new bats come out in 2025

@@CanadianDoorMan I would personally wait to see what 2025 brings because your son is most likely going to size up in bats as well.
