Until I began watching these videos, I had no idea what a lack of colour, people with colourblindness see. It has to be such a dramatic change, to make so many people cry. I’m so thankful for the people who figured this out!!! And so happy for the people seeing real colours for the first time. I really only thought they were missing maybe red and green. 🙏😄

In this one you can see that it definitely does take a while for it to take effect. At first the color blind gentleman wasn't impressed, and then all of a sudden it's oh yeah. I've also come to understand that people flip the glasses up and down because the contrast between glasses on and glasses off gives them a baseline to help describe what they're seeing.
@Jesta7472002 жыл бұрын
The best reactions are always from the people who look through the glasses then with their own eyes. The whole “don’t take them off” if for people they don’t work on. (Stop telling people to leave them on)

It can take up to an hour for the brain to adjust to the brand new stimuli and process it correctly. It may work quickly or it may not. That's why the MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS are to leave them on. They know how their product works better than some KZbin rando.

@@chellesama8256 If there is no immediate effect, they will not see any difference and leave them on. But if there is difference, let them compare, let them enjoy that difference. They can have them on 24/7 later, when moment is gone.

The reactions are different by each participant and it's natural. That's what descriptions mention on provided instructions. First thing they notice is that everything looks brighter and vivid but with the tinge of red or purple (which they don't recognize it seems) so they are shocked and take a step back. That's when people surrounding them start yelling " Can you see the colors now ?" stuff like that. Now they should hold everything, let the participant have a few minutes to adjust. That's very important !!! They don't recognize half the colors they are seeing as well as realizing how vivid everything become. They are shaken by the experience and have no words to describe their feeling right away. I like these videos when onlookers are more observant and don't bombarding color blind person. Just give it couple of quiet minutes then the magic starts.

You're right, that's what SHOULD happen. But when you have an even like this, everyone is so excited and interested that they can't help but start asking questions. Things change drastically when you're in the moment.

There are glasses made for inside and outside use, as well as safety glass and prescriptions. They are extremely useful in my opinion for any sort of wiring, differentiating between similar items, driving (not just traffic lights but seeing emergency vehicles and construction workers), obviously anything to do with color like painting or staining, drawing, design, pretty much all art and photography. You might more easily stray away from certain colored frogs or snakes or have a better time spotting an animal while hunting. And many other things I can’t think of at the moment lol. I hope this helps in your decision to buy these if you have color blindness, or if you don’t, I hope this educated you a little on the usefulness of having full use of your senses!

Actually I think the camera guy ruined it….he kept directing the guy which is stupid. How are u going to tell him to not flip the glasses before he even tries it then ask him what colors he can and can’t notice the difference of. The camera guy is clearly not colorblind nor completely understands the concept so I wish he would’ve stfu and just let the guy experience it and then we would’ve had a more genuine reaction instead of a methodic one.

Yea ppl do hackle to much when someone is about to experience something so mind altering that the brain reaction causes an involuntary reaction in the body. Shows how unemphatic most ppl are. Women especially and I'm a woman but I noticed they interrupt the most.
