Cotswold has many dog friendly places. Bourton-on-the-water has a mini maze, bird sanctuary and are museum you can take dogs in play df shops and cafes. There's also Cotswold wildlife park not that far away in Burford that allow dogs also. Somerset is very df as well. Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace, Chedder Gorge etc

Yes visit Bushmills the home of the worlds oldest distillery and the famous Giants Causeway and the film locations all around for Game of Thrones. You could even visit the Titanic museum which is fabulous. Sorry short boat journey.

In the wrap-up at the end, the way your eyes were illuminated by the light showed them to be a lovely light brown color. Have a look at that, Sarah. It was kind of stroking. Usually in "normal" lighting your eyes show up as a darker brown.

Another suggestion would be to go up into Wales. My son and grandson visited there awhile back and loved it!
