I'm the dad in my house I was a chef for ten years. It's really reversed in my house. I'll make three day long recipes and my wife makes grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, chef boyardee blah blah blah. If I'm not home to cook it gets Bland. I work in construction now so the solution is to train her and my kids how to cook. Isn't working.

@@aaronmackay6123 Same. Cooked for 6 years, now an electrical engineer. On the last Sunday that I cooked, we had Osso Buco, slow cooked with a roasted bone marrow and garlic gravy. The last Sunday my wife cooked, it was hamburger helper and boiled broccoli.

@@hekter2364 same. I wouldnt normally use cups, but my wife only does the dishes after they pile up high enough to hit the ceiling (same way she does laundry) When Im home, I do dishes after every meal (well, i just rinse them) the reuse the dishes for the day. Easy clean up at night that way.
