This looks like a riff on two very recent releases, The Babadook and Goodnight Mommy. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing but people who like pretending a single genre is saving the film industry clearly don't watch movies or pay attention to the hundreds of great and original movies that come out every single year in every genre. @@Erotal I'll just use the brief synopsis from google: A boy and his widowed stepmother find themselves in fear for their lives after they are visited by an unexplainable creature which appears to mimic the boy's recently deceased father. Just change "stepmother" to "mother" and forget the part about the creature resembling the deceased father (although the father's clothes are used at one point to represent the babadook in said movie).

When I was a kid and I was lucky to catch a dreadfully bad horror flick once a month at 3 AM...if I was lucky, I wish I had known that one day, there would be Shudder. Fifty years later and I'm just as avid a horror fan as I was when I was a kid. It's still amazing to me that I can watch a horror movie any time I please lol. Thank you Shudder, for your eclectic offerings and for introducing and supporting so many indie horror films and their creators. ❤

I know. There used to be horror movies on a specific channel at 11:35 on Saturday nights. When I slept over at Grandmas we would always watch them together. She'd LOVE Shudder.

I HAD SHUDDER FOR 4 YEARSS , BUT i changed it up to AMC+ last year ad free , i like it more, is more movies & series plus my FAV IFC films & IFC Midnight.. loves IFC movies 2 , after all worth to changed it up, gonna check this out, i like about SHUDDER , dont make PG-13 Bubble Gum rated crap movies, goes for hardcore such as gets me interested & keeping it🔥👌

This was the best possible way to make skinwalker lore into a horror movie. I didn’t connect the father being skinned head to toe with the skinwalker until you hear the thing adapt his voice. I am completely floored with how perfect this skinwalker film is. Movies like antlers spell it out for you. There’s no discovery. But if you’ve listened to enough skinwalker stories you’ll see it clear as day. This is a movie about a skinwalker
