Takeuchi often said that she was shocked when she saw some of the alterations and modifications made to the story and the characters in the tv show, but since the rights were sold to Toei, they could do as they please and she didn't have a say, so she just had to live with it.

Scruffy Little Cloud I think Diana is a mutation (my theory). Her parents phenotypes are different than what she looks like. She could have come out black and white (co-dominance) or gray (incomplete dominance). Both of those of those colors are repulsive. So she came out lavender as the result of a mutation (my theory). She is 100% Luna's and Artemis' DNA.

I really love how everybody suddenly hates these voices when this is the version that we grew up on. I personally love this one. honestly what made me fall in love with anime was sailor moon. This particular one because this is the only one that we knew at the time. I mean Cartoon Network tried their best to censor it by making it more kid friendly but they cannot hide uranus and Neptune at 10 years old I clearly knew they were two lesbians. They were just too close for comfort, no matter how much they tried to hide it they couldn’t.

This version has a special place in my heart just like Prince Darien told Princess Serenity in that flashback episode in the second to last episode in Season One. I really loved the music episodes like My Only Love when Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon find out their true identities, My Only Hope when Sailor Moon battles Queen Beryl in Season 1. Rainy Day Man when Lita's friend Ken gets hurt saving her life, Rei singing Starry Night at her private school concert. She's Got the Power when the Sailor Scouts battled the Four Sisters on the Nega Moon and Rubeus, that song when Sailor Mercury was about to leave to study abroad in Germany, The Power of Love when Sailor Moon as Queen Serenity battles the Doom Phantom, and Who Do You Think You Are in Sailor R/Season 2 that filler episode where the Sailor Scouts discuss who should be the leader and Rei's vision of Season 3 events. My least favorite season was Season 4/ Season Super S but I loved the dream scenes between Peagus and Rini when he is flying Rini in the sky and that scene when Helios kisses Rini along with the ending credits song Tuxedo Mirage. And of course, we know why Season 5 never aired.

@@francarrey7501 This show was awesome! But I never watched it as much because I knew nothing much of it except the fact that she had a talking cat & the theme song. I’m rewatching the series & it’s pretty intense, especially the entirety of Season 1. I loved her & Darien’s playful banter with each other & it was just so adorable how annoyed she’d get every time he called her Meatball Head. It was pretty interesting how Queen Beryl’s minions would find different ways to collect the seven crystals from each of the Sailor Scouts. I also liked how every few episodes gave a backstory for each of the characters as they were introduced. My favorite moment was when Darien grew weak because Queen Beryl had brainwashed him & caused him to lose his memories. Fearing that she was going to lose him forever, Serena cried by his side & pleaded for him to remember all the beautiful times they shared together. She fell in love with him when she discovered he was Tuxedo Mask & they were trapped in the elevator together & she transformed into Sailor Moon. Another favorite moment of mine was when he gave her the locket that played the theme when she opened it & when they danced in the Moon Kingdom. Her dress was so beautiful.
