You should talk to Scott Welker about making a stop light for your drive-over. He put one together for theirs to stop in the right spot every time.

A trick I've always used for a shiny dipstick that was hard to see the oil is to heat the end with a propane torch until it turns blue. Makes it a lot easier to see the oil.

This was a great video about everyone has a job, and each person and job are very important to keep things running smoothly. You and the boys make it look easy. Another job people don't know how important, is the wives holding down the fort, being independent as possible. Nave has quite a lot on her plate as much as you all in the field. For a few months, It will be a lot! Then as they get older, they will entertain each other. So, here's a shout-out to the wives/mothers holding down the fort 😊❤

I've really been enjoying your channel, sometimes Cole doesn't put out as much content as I want, not that that is a bad thing, I couldn't imagine doing the extra job of filming and editing in addition to farming. I sure love farming, I moved to a city and I do garden but I miss all that, I grew up farming hay and corn. I sure wish I could work like you do.

First thing every morning while it is still dark nowadays I check to see if you or Cole have posted a new video. The way you and the boys work together makes me jealous. I am about the same age as you and have a vegetable farm on Prince Edward Island where we grow about 30 acres of vegetables that are harvested by hand starting in late june until early november. My wife and I have been blessed with 5 children who were a great help but it looks unlikely that any of them will take over the farm. These days we are busy picking 20 acres of pumpkins which is thousands and thousands a back breaking job for sure and a lot different from the type of farming I grew up doing on a large potato and dairy farm. I sure miss the big equipment and trucks we ran Case 7110s so when you get in your tractor it brings back a lot of memories. Last fall after harvest we drove out to Kansas city for a football game so we were getting close to you guys . I had hoped to see a lot more corn harvest on the drive but the fields were mostly picked by then. i really appreciate you and Coles work ethic and attention to detail and especially the way you take care of you gear. I would like to think that if you lived down the road we would be friends . well I consider you a friend anyhow.

My uncle was a long haul owner operator from the mid seven ties till about ‘09 he actually loved being on the road but yet it was tough being married an two boys (my cousins) had nice sharp looking rigs over the years. Had lots of stories.

My dad when he was supposedly retired at 72 worked part time for Ryder trucks and they would fly him up to Detroit and he would drive a new Ryder Truck back with two cabs piggybacked behind driving it back to Texas, sometimes they would send him to Washington state instead. Men of his era were of sterner stuff. I’ll be lucky to drive a rocking chair at 72!
