You know DC the reason the wind blows so strong there is because there aren’t any trees to break the wind speed. I call that 6& 7,s. Not much of a difference but enough to make a difference. Back off haters I’m 88 yrs old and I do know a thing or two even if I can only remember one😂😅😊❤

My dad worked for decades as a gra8n instructor at Continental Grain Co. In East St, Louis. Continental was bought by Conagra. They would receive the the grain, inspect, grade and price it (I don't know if they do pricing there anymore with options and futures) from hundreds of trucks daily. I am only speaking of when the grain was going from there. That elevator located on the East side of the Mississippi from the Arch, is huge. The grain was put on barges largely for export. My dad worked there from the 1940s to the mid 1970s. So m7ch has changed, I am sure. I remember visiting him when they were weighing the truck and unloading. Back then the entire truck was tilted up. I've heard of explosions. And men falling 7nto the grain. That's terrible. Can suffocate.

Yes DC, those 4840s don’t ride very well, I did a lot of cultivating with one of those, I think ours was a 1978 my brother and I repainted it looked awesome but it was time for her to go, that ain’t speed powershift you had to feather that clutch while shifting on the road with that 12 row cultivator hanging on the back while leaving the field pretty jerky, JD 8300 wasn’t much better that had a certain clutch pack shift that would that was bad, always great videos DC keep them up👍!!

Can't replant because cleaning seeds is illegal. And seed is now made to not make more growable seed. Whole docs made about it and the ownership of all seed.

On my farm, I don't do GMO. My crops are organic, so GMOs are a NO GO! Open Pollenated only. And...I can save seeds and replant.

It's okay to drink Pop as a treat once in awhile, just not everyday, all day. The corn syrup plays tricks on the brain telling you that you're hungry. I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups too, as a treat. It's amazing how much weight you can lose just cutting that out of your diet. Peanuts have protein in them, but they can be caloric. But, you guys work quite hard, and long days. It's amazing how much water a body needs. But, the body is 75% water, so it makes sense. It's also good for muscle spasms. We're at that age Daddy Cornstar. 😊

Your asking for trouble letting the grandson ride on the back of the dog very disappointed in you grandpa cornstar. I know your just trying to be a good grandpa but sometimes good intentions don't go as planned. Ellie will bite your grandson if you let him continue riding on ellie!

Two families l personally know had to have their dogs put down when their dogs bite the kids. One was bitten in the face and still has scars to this day. The other little boy was bitten multiple times. Please, please, please keep that kind of accident from happening by not letting the grandchildren sitting on Ellie. It’s totally preventable.

Thanks for the video DC ! Congratulations on your success with healthier eating. I'm on the same program. There was a TV fitness show from the 50's until the mid '80's, the Jack LaLanne Show. LaLanne's advice on healthy eating was simple: "If it tastes good spit it out !" Best wishes & good luck to you !!!

Please be careful with the baby and the dog.The poor dog gets the blame if she snaps at the baby if he accidentally hurts her. He should be taught to not sit on and bounce on her. The best dog in the world can respond when it gets hurt. Don't mean to be negative, but I have seen it happen. Really do enjoy your videos and your fam

DC referencing your comment on beans and if you could replant them, and spray them... yes, genetics don't fade that fast. The crux of the matter is they want you buying beans every year at astronomical prices... just wish I could farmhand again, left oklahoma 5 years ago for colorado.... nearest real farms are 100 miles away 😢

Funny, you brought up the beans. My father was telling me years ago you could plant your own beans with the beans you harvested you had to clean them of course. But because of the round up ready beans, that’s why they don’t like you to do that anymore. They also say replanting the same bean year after year has an effect on the germination. I have a different opinion to the whole thing.
