My wife started crying because she thought I was anti-police (her best friend's son just became a cop). I tried to explain that I am anti-authoritarian, anti-initiation of force, anti-group think, and for 8 decades I have never betrayed myself, never disrespected my ability/right to think for myself. I make mistakes. I correct them. I don't give up thinking, nor would I value an irrational idea over a rational one, as the superstitious people do. I try to be as rational as I can because I was "born that way". I am what I am, and I won't betray myself. I am sure there are many cops that feel as I do that LEOs have discredited their profession.

Unfortunately, that is a mirage! We are totally and absolutely controlled by the Govt, and not just domestic, but world Govt. They control the food, gas, water, power, sewage, police, fire, health systems, auto and aviation, supply chain, work force, and control it with a massive banking system that executes its dominance over us in every aspect of our lives. To overthrow it, it would take a resetting revolution and few people would be willing to endure a reset after they lose all their modern amenities, funds and luxuries. They would bow to the Govt and ask them for help and restart the chain all over again.

Great, but it always irks me when people are asked what made America or what is American culture, but the never bring up Christianity. America is not an accident. It was founded by a bunch of White Christians and primary discriminated for such traits when looking for immigrants. It wasn't even until the 1900s that the US stopped discriminating when it came to immigration. An America founded by Muslims, Jews, or Hindus, wouldn't be the same. People may say "oh not all the founders were Christian" all they like, still will not change the fact that all the founders grew up in and supported a Christian milieu. It's like asking someone what made the Ottman Empire, or what was one of their defining trait and they never bring up Islam.

@@DadSavesAmerica Same here. All you have to ask youself, is could another religion or blief system bring about the results we got from Christianity? The answer is obviously no. Not saying other reglions couldn't be productive, but there's a reason science and capitalism thrived in places with Christianity and not others. Even athesism couldn't bring you this. Just imagine athiests trying to form a nation state. Based on what shared ideas and belief about humanity? How would they stop their country from being taken over? Income and excise taxes are the one expense that we do not freely choose. Easy to understand why people hate taxes. However, there is no high median citizen income and powerful nation in the world without an income tax and a large government. None. Every non-income tax, small government in the world is not a high median income and powerful nation able to protect itself without a large ally. Just a fact of life. There are a few nations, like Switzerland and Luxembourg that have a high median income per citizen. But they are not powerful and depend on other allies to protect them. Ayn Rand is a salwart warning against the evils of living under Soviet rule. But had Ayn Rand grown up in socialist Sweden, instead of communist, totalitarian Soviet Union, her thinking and writings would be very different. My old Econ professor, said, when you get away from philosophy and labeling things, there are two ways people pay for things. By private individuals or a group of private individuals or by taxpayers. All societies are a mix of the two and in the real world, the true argument is how much by taxpayers do you want or not want? The rest is just entertaining musing on labels like socialism or communism or capitalism. More emotional words for entertainment than what happens in the real world.

As to Covid, it is true that many more died in the USA than other G7 countries. The USA had the highest excess death rate during Covid of all the G7 nations. I'm not sure if that was because USA citizens wore fewer masks than other countries, were more relaxed about social distancing, or were more afraid of vaccination. Maybe all three.
@ricklyons6125Ай бұрын
it probably has more to do with our terrible medical system than anything and general health of Americans.
@tams9019Ай бұрын
We counted deaths differently. If someone died with a positive Covid test, they were counted as a Covid death. I know someone whose grandmother had cancer but happened to test positive for Covid, her death was counted as a Covid death. But she died because of cancer. Covid was secondary: This was common practice at hospitals during the pandemic. People who died WITH Covid but not FROM Covid were counted as Covid deaths. Also was the practice at nursing homes to count Covid deaths this way. To my knowledge, no other country counted their deaths like this.
@HenritheHorseАй бұрын
You mean the side-effects from it.
@throckmortensnivel2850Ай бұрын
@@HenritheHorse The side effects from what? From vaccination? The USA had fewer total vaccinations than any other country in the G7, and had a higher death total from Covid. If you're trying to imply that it was the side effects of the vaccines, the figures do not back that up.
@bolo2393Ай бұрын
Social distancing was totally arbitrary, they have admitted this. Anyone wearing a mask outside is just terrorized into submission. The margin to which vaccines and countless boosters are effective has been shown to be fairly low especially over time. America's death rate had much more to do with the amount of excessively elderly people that were already in very poor health being kept alive on pharmaceuticals(the average age of death from covid is higher than the average age of all cause mortality) and the obesity epidemic amongst the general American public.

The Goverment never represents the nation as in the people, if anything they are the most inhumane, all goverments at the start of the 1900 or after 1880 from the Industrial Revolution so forth have more or less become a national socialist country, that further evolved into imperialism, fascism is just a method not a political system, its ultimate form is dogmatism, were the state is the law, After the French Revolution and WW I the last remnants of the old oder monarchy and aristocracy were gone for good in the favor of amoralism, present with in single control authoritarian states, like China & Russia, or the NK rebels, while other parts wer given to corporate industrial rober barons, many of whom would be become arch dukes in there own right to govern the nation from there financial vantages, In Americas case its govermental corporate interests as in their world and every body else is just a pawn or cog,
