OMGGG!! You and your wife are amazing and so smart!! My baby is 6 months and need slight support sitting up, she cant crawl and HATES tummy time!! She hates tummy time SO bad that she rolled over to tummy or her back when she was only 1 week old!! So she’s 6 & 1/2 months now and I’m like why won’t she crawl?! All the signs are there but she won’t. I’ve trying reading and watching sooo many videos they all say the same thing just tummy time. I used the boppy in your video and BAM she was FINALLY on her knees!! After subscribing and watching your videos I’ve decided I’m selling her activity center and only keeping her push walker. Which I’ve done my research and read even doctors stating they delay babies from walking! Overall I’m SOOO glad I found your videos!! I will be sharing this with all my friends!!

so i looked at your video yesterday at 4pm especially the one with the boppy and within a day my 7+ month old daughter has started to lift her tummy and slowly moving forward... not proper crawling but at least that's a start... she is now trying hard to move in front to grab her toys.... All i did was following: 1) took boppy out of closest... Followed the video 2) Gave her lots of appreciation & encouragement as soon as she grabbed a toy 3) used different locations for playing/training: Carpet floor in bedroom, our bed & play mat... all worked like a charm

My son has been trying to crawl since 3-4 weeks, but is now 8 months and is still struggling, accept when we hold his hands, he’s able to walk. He’s just having trouble coordinating his arms with his legs, I can see like his old man, he’s overthinking it. We always did tummy time, we had the pillow, he gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth and actually pushes himself backwards, he’s been doing that for 2-3 months. He’s got the strength, but like I said he keeps overthinking where he puts his hands. I’ve actually seen him crawl one or two paces when he doesn’t think about it, but when he’s trying he just overthinks it. Oh my sons name is Judah.

Awesome video! When did you guys stop swaddling and was your baby a back sleeper or side/tummy once done with the swaddle and rolling over?
@DadsDad4 жыл бұрын
We stopped swaddling right around 5 months when we transitioned Leo to his crib from the snoo. Since we used the snoo he was a back sleeper but the moment he transitioned to his crib, he was a tummy sleeper, still is to this day!
@nathanielharper57714 жыл бұрын
@@DadsDad Thanks for the reply and insight. This first time dad has a real active one on his hands haha He rolled over at 2 months, so we got the snoo at that point, but I know he will follow in your sons foot steps with the stomach sleeping tendencies. Why I asked though, is because I heard that stomach sleepers and babies that are out of the swaddle earlier (most of the time from rolling), crawl and walk earlier! Loved you tips and already have implemented the ones I wasn’t doing 👍🏼

For all who don’t know it’s normal for kids to not crawl at six seven or eight months and sometimes babies end up not crawling at all and skipping that process all together some babies just have to much weight on them so it’s harder for them to learn how to do it due to there weight but for anyone trying to teach there babies don’t get discouraged keep trying
