I love his facial expressions, when he grins from relief as he realizes he got his timing right, and his MIDI controller did what he wanted it to. Great stuff. Also I love how he stands with the audience at the end at 27:36, such a nice personal touch to literately connecting with your audience.

i know this was forever ago but it's not a midi controller, it's an open source device called grid by a company called monome. the one they're using here is in a museum now and monome only just started re-releasing this size of grid. here they were using a software called mlr to load and chop samples and then custom mixing those samples together. no midi involved. now they use a program called re:mix with grid to achieve the same effect because mlr became outdated

I love his unique performance, you can tell he's just loving the music. And you can't just jump in this mix like 10 minutes in and get the full effect, it's a journey it takes you on from start to finish. But goddamn it's gotta be really hot in there.

I remember coming to eyedrum gallery show in atl for 88.5 (ga state radio station) and honestly I forgot about all Athens headliners alltogrther, he stole the show. Best vide, best performance, and what a gentleman he is, sucha joy! the entire venue was in trans, his music and ability to create on the spit just takes you away. by far one of the best live shows I've ever attended.
