Oh i love this. So good. It tells an interesting au story but so aesthetically pleasing to look at. I watched it first but stumbled a bit as to why would he take a second wife if he loves rhaenyra, but wrote it off as him just being a spoiled attention seeking shit. I don’t see that happening in the show to be honest. They’re building up their love story with deep care. Also, the book is in the form of accounts from maesters and a jester they were all biased against team Black because the Greens controlled them. At the point when she appears Rhaenyra has lost so much, so i view this rumour as the Greens trying to alienate even her husband by making her believe he cheated. Some accounts say Nettles was his bastard not a lover, so she’s a mystery indeed. I wonder what the show will do with her.
