I also thought it was very interesting how interested the Night King was in Jon Snow throughout the series. Also, the other "leaders" of the dead could represent the other fallen 'crazies' of house Targarian; Mad King, Baelor I, and Aerion.

I was the one that sent you this theory of Daemon is the Night King. There are several other things that could contribute to the theory you left out. He had the motive to attack the Seven Kingdoms because what happened to his family and himself. He has the skillls of a great warrior and leader. He has the same mannerisms and arrogance that lead to both their downfalls. When he had the chance to kill Danny and Jon, he didn’t. Could this be because he knew they were family. He also had knowledge of the kingdom and knew to go to Winterfel instead of heading straight South. Everyone asked the Question ; What did the Night King want and why a this answers those questions.

NK would have to be way older the children of the forest were at war with the first men. In both series each kingdom was already established and they knew about the coming of the long night. Therefore the NK probably was some one who was considered one of the first men.

I'd also say unlikely, as Daemon was someone that shunned everything outside of his own power. He chose to stand on his own power, would he choose a new power, who knows. But the dragon blood and riding a dragon does imply there has to be a Targaryen inside the Night King

Throughout Westerosi history there has been more than one Night King, Great Other, Lord and Ruler of the Land of Always Winter. Arya didn't wipe out all of the White Walkers/Others, she only took out one and the army that he controlled. There are still Others/White Walkers back at their home in the furthest reaches of the north, far beyond the wall, where no ranger of the Nights watch has ever gone "except for maybe Uncle Benjen" deep in the Land of Always Winter. The Others also have a line of succession and will crown a new Night King to replace the one that was killed by Arya Stark.

Way to young for your theory. In GOT season 1, when old nan was talking about the white walkers, they were from 6000 years ago. Far before Damiens time. In fact I'd argue that if something had happened regarding white walkers a couple hundred years before, everyone would still be worried about it. In GOT nobody is worried about any white walker in fact they seem to be a myth.

They didnt carry damon to the other side of the wall ...damon defeated aemon and vhaghar above the gods eye...both dragons were recovered washed ashore with aemonds body... Daemons body was never found at the gods eye. The children of the forest performed that ritual at the gods eye....did they pull daemon from the water and turn him? Possibly. Most of the deep story comes from the time of the Empire of the Dawn that predates Valyria itself by thousands of years.
