Man, just watched a rough dice roll from the Sovereign into the Contemptor on turn one. Seems like the Sovereign should have ripped it in half no problem. Dice do be dice

Nice game, tbh Gargantuan is the daemon super-heavy keyword so should give up 2 Vp, just like Armigers should always have been effected by haywire. If you can houserule multiple combats this should be an easy fix seeing as this is a new rules problem just like with the armigers (ie included after the missions were written). As always lovely looking and interesting battles anyway, keep up the good work! 🎉

IMHO honestly at 3000 point the Daemons should have taken a third severing as well as 3 more behemoths with wings, blades and warp forged flesh.

@@SNBattleReports Sadly in the current version of the list they are the only real killing power beside taking the ach-daemon in bigger games. It is pretty much the same case as the militia were the punch comes solely from Leman Russ Vanquisher. Really great game BTW showing the whole pros and cons of the ruinstorm daemons list.

@@SNBattleReports I know but you nearly claimed a third one! You Held the Line with the nearest Rampagers, you overwatched with the Contemptor and then you were going to claim a Brace with the Command squad before you both realised you had already braced with the Rampagers…

How comes you didn't try to get all your models into b2b on that first charge vs Sovereign? Seems a bit unfair to the daemon player I doubt all three of those units could get in. E.g. you can clearly see the cmd squad is to the far right of the Sovereign after the charge. You are meant to move each model as close as possible to the target unit. Can't just leave a gap so other units can bundle in. Plenty more of those cmd squad models looked like they could have been in b2b especially since you rolled an 11 inch charge. Sorry didn't mean to turn this into a rant but I see it all the time in games not just from sn and its basically cheating.
