Wow that bin man was so patient with that absolutely painful lifting system! That truck needs it’s lifters looked at!

It’s because of the bins, they are 190l not 240l so the lip is smaller and doesn’t fit on properly

How do Tamworth council collect recycling in narrow roads? Do you know? In my council we have a mixed recycling wheelie bin and a separate glass box. On the narrow roads the crews have to mix the glass because they obviously have to use a small lorry and it’s only got one compartment.

We have a 18t truck, and they have purple bins themselves, so purple, black, blue, black, purple that’s how it works

It wasn’t the automatic mode, it’s because the bins don’t fit in the lifts properly
