NBC threw together some little 30 minute movie series for the Blues before the puck drop. They were doing it with The Hurricanes too, even when the Bruins were at home they had the Duke basketball coach giving some pre-game pep talk about the "winning culture" in Carolina. Total joke.

I love Torey Krug! He is awesome! I think someone said he is now the top scoring American player, of all time, in Bruin's History. . . And first Bruin's defenseman ever, to score 4 points in a playoff game. ( 1 Goal and 3 assists in Game 3 ) That's pretty good considering the Bruins had Bobby Orr and Ray Bourque. Raymond Bourque is the top scoring defenseman in NHL History! GO BRUINS!!

I dont know if Ive ever seen a bruins team play so smoothly. Over the years, Im very used to Awesome gladiator like Penalty killing to go along with tenacious fore-checking with the Bruins. Watching huge effort teams with some skill spots spread around the Ice, always knowing that someone would eventually "Poke the Bear", and we'd witness the Bruins just out will the other team to a win. That has been Bruins hockey for me, my whole life it seems. But this.. This is all that, plus a metric shit tonne of smoothness. "Mango smoothy smooVness" I like it.

I record the games. Then I fast forward through all the Commercials, the BS, the Zamboni time, etc. I only watch the actual game time. And I can pause it, to get a beer, or to pee. Lol And I can rewind any time to watch the goals again, or to see if it was off side, or any fights or scrums, etc. You just can't beat it. . . GO BRUINS!!

Boston plays a complete team effort. They know where their team mates are at all times and stick to the game plan. I'm a bit surprised at how disciplined they are playing. Even Marchand is holding back. The Blues I think are frustrated that they can't draw them into taking a penalty. Great series though, man I love this game.

Good point. Another example, Blais took himself out of position trying to make a center ice hit on Coyle, leading to a 3 on 2 and a Coyle goal. Bruins are physical but have generally been smarter about it. Let's hope it keeps up.
